This music video is the first occurrence of the aesthetic we've seen throughout the 2010's and still see today. This vintage clean "minimalism" is everywhere now, and I remember this video to be the pivotal point, at least to my knowledge

Good point, a few bands come to mind during this era, Vanshe, Yeasayer, Vance Joy, Neon Indian, ALT J, Cherub, The Bay. Those groups remind me of that and indie synth vibe 2010-2013.
