Well the stadium isn’t gone but the team is. Funny thing is the Ballpark makes the Warehouse look like a kid’s playground

I was fortunate to be at the opening game being only 10 years old. Still have the Dr. Pepper Bottle that has the opening game date on it. Now finally I’m hopefully about to witness the Rangers win the World Series if they don’t blow it like they did 12 years ago with only one out needed to win and somehow they lost. Crossing fingers tomorrow is the day!

The most gorgeous park I've ever attended. Spectacular setting for baseball. Could NOT believe they abandoned it. I caught several opening day games there. Great memories.

The Rangers playing the Mets is one of the rarest matchups. Never knew about this game, or maybe I did but forgot. From what I understand, there were problems with this stadium.

The Ballpark in Arlington was replaced by Globe Life Park.

It was renamed Globe Life Park, and when they left and moved to Globe Life Field, the old stadium was renamed Choctaw Stadium, which is used for football and soccer.

The new stadiums of the 90s were nice but upper decks were too big so now that's one thing you notice with the new parks recently is smaller upper decks
