I bought two Meyer Lemon Trees at Walmart two years ago in June when they were marked down half price which made them about 23 dollars each . They grew well the first year and second year we got a little over 90 lemons from them . I’m in zone 8B so have to bring them into garage when temps forecast below 32 .

I've got mine inside with artificial light mostly (Amazon led plant lights) but secondary light from north facing window lol. I know I know. Growing very dense but not tall! When it arrived from fast growing trees it looked terrible, but it didn't die and started growing!

Hello fellow gardening friend. I just found your video as I have been searching for reviews on fast growing trees. I bought 2 Chicago Hardy Figs trees and 2 pomegranate trees, and they're not looking great. I may need to baby them back to health. It is refreshing to see your trees doing well. Thank you for such a thorough review. I've subscribed!

Keep them in pot.I made the mistake of putting several citrus trees in ground and they’ve all died from these freezes under 20’. They just arent built for freezing temps regardless how you protect them.

You can notch the tree to force it to grow new branches in the empty space.

I tried that with no success - it is possible I didn’t do it Correctly any advice ?

@BAREFOOT IN THE GARDEN I'm no expert but all I did was about a 1/4" above the node cut down through the bark into the actual wood. It took a while but eventually new shoots came out. I did see your newer video and the tree seemed to have filled out nicely. I enjoyed your videos thanks for posting.

You can buy the same trees at your local garden store for a fraction of the price and same quality. FGT is a scam.
@Wilddmother2 жыл бұрын
The trees in my area at Nursery’s run around the same price - I guess that can vary depending on your location - thanks for watching 😊
@Verno1132 жыл бұрын
Not true in my experience. I have had very good luck with FGT. I live in Maryland…Homestead Gardens is the premier local garden center…i have never seen a Satsuma Mandarin tree in either of their stores, however i had a 6’ tall tree delivered to me from FGT and it has produced amazing mandarins similar to Sumo mandarins. IMHO FGT is not a scam.
