LSD is mandatory for a FWD car... really makes the whole "FRONT WHEEL DRIVE JUST UNDERSTEERS!!" thing go away.

@@focalpolyglass7337 sure - simple example: when one of your wheels on the drive axle goes into the mud, you won't get stuck because the LSD will transfer part of the power to the wheel that has traction.

@@Modzin idę właśnie spać - przed chwilą rozpakowałem paczkę od kuriera, a w niej jakiś ps3... Uruchamiam, a tam Gran Turismo 6 😂 ale silna wola powiedziała by to wyłączyć i iść jednak spać

alot of understeer on open diff handling, looks very dangerous in a real world setting. This video makes me realize that a lot of fwd cars if not all should've come with them from factory, for safety alone.

The biggest problem occurs when, for example, one wheel falls into the mud with an open differential. Then trying to move the car may be impossible because the only wheel that will have drive will be the one standing in the mud.

Does LSD make it harder to drag the car thru the turn when the wheels spin, or does it make you understeer more or anything?

No, with LSD you can drive much faster in the corners. When you stay on throttle in corner then your car has even more grip, and you can go much faster. On stock open diff car lose grip by wheel spin.

@@spooneg3ok. So in my Open Dif car, (TSX/accord euro) I pin the gas in the corner to keep the rear of the car from over steering. What will happen if I pin the gas on corner with an LSD?

@@latuba2478whenever you press the gas in a FWD car, even in a corner, the rear end will be pulled forward and oversteering will be suppressed.

@@joelmayorgaa hi no, inner wheel lose traction, because... Imagine it - If you steer right then whole car mass is transfered to front left wheel. If more mass on wheel then it sticks most to the asphalt. Inner wheel in this time is relieved, which makes it much easier for it to start losing traction. With an open differential, all power is transferred to this wheel and the car starts to go straight, because the wheel with full traction in the corner stops being driven.

Of course you can! Feel free to ask everything what you need! This car is now in All motor setup :) In 2017 it had a turbo.

Cześć, ISC Sport -sprężyny 16kg przód i 10kg tył. Brak stabilizatorów, wahacze przód seria (zamienione górne lewy z prawym stronami) i tył camber kit (pochylenie -2.5')

@@chadwickwicky67 "MFactory Helical LSD, upto 75% torque can be transferred to the one wheel" - info from MFactory site. From my point of view - I see much difference in the corners in compare with Open diff. Plate LSD will be better, but plate has one con - you should change the oil in gearbox per every 1000 kilometers, and do a maintenance after every 5000 kilometers so... Helical is better option for road&track cars like mine.

1,2s in this case but as he himself said "I need to learn to use it in 100%, because for now I'm a little bit scared"... and hes right, it takes a while till you get used to to more grip and youre able to utilize it correctly throughout the lap. The thing with FWD is, when you push the car it grips even more so the LSD probably has a big effect on how much you can get out of it.

ale to nie jest żadna szpera - LSD helikalny mechanizm różnicowy to torsen i ten dyferencjł niczego nie blokuje tylko przekazuje więcej momentu na koło o lepszej przyczepności.

Ale LSD jak sama nazwa wskazuje nie blokuje niczego tylko ogranicza poślizg. Limited slip - ograniczony poślizg. I tak - jak najbardziej jest to LSD.

@@spooneg3 nie jest. jJeu chryste nie masz żadnego pojecia o czym mówisz. To niczego. LSD to mechanizm rónicowy o zwiekszonym tarcie wewnętrnym a torsen przekazuje wiecej momentu na koło o lepszej przyczepnosci. W skrócie pierniczysz.
