This was really short compared to other battles in the season both zero and 5th quarter. Both teams have been excellent over the years. I’m sad football season is over but it’s not the end yet. My take as Jsettes fan They were clean down!!!!!!!!!! I give them the first 2 rounds. Laneia had a bomb ass season Her team backed her all season I definitely feel like they should've did something with Dej and Keyshia up front for the 5th. Now even though i feel like GG's stand routine was definitely copy and paste. The energy was there and they came in Battle mode. We are not talking enough about the moment when Jak and Makya led together they ate that right on up!!!! Sette fans it's ok we had one hell of season but you gotta give credit where its due. This 5th doesn't diminish anything our girl has done this season. Now on another note no other captain can say they were on point thee ENTIRE season and had a murder squad to back them like Laneia and that's a fact!!!!

It’s legit not a battle until the GG’s get some originality, creativity, complexity, and uniformity. They don’t compare and are no match for the Settes. But mad respect for the ladies on both teams!

Sometimes, less is more and while the GGs killed it, I felt like it was ALOT. Entertaining for sure. Jsettes take overall. GGs take GE though!

The 5th quarter was good on both teams bringing their unique styles. However, take out the GG energy and intensity. The counts and sync to band didn't do it for me. The settes counts were better, and on sync with the band. Their integration of new, old, formation changes were better to original sette to new settes over the years giving all JSU fans something with grace to watch. My opinion the settes knew the GGs would bring high energy, hand claps, and field performance to the stands, therefore, they were prepared. To the untrained eye the GGs won even though a couple of the girls messed up on counts. Love both bands, but this year i give it to the Settes. Last year I gave it to the GGs.

A whole season to create routines that lacked originality (yes I know that golden delight did it first) wow. Though I’ll never get tired of routines, I’m over the dissing. Especially if your team haven’t been eating all season and the best you can come up with at the end of the season is a diss? But round for round I’ll give it to the GGs. 3-2 this wasn’t a blood bath only a win. Great way to end a lackluster season GGs. Settes throw those long ASS formations in the damn garbage.

Golden girls copied all the creativity from the inspiring, the standard prancing j settes. Nothing was original from them, each stand routine was messy

The sisterhood the J-Settes exemplify with each performance is like none other. I’m forever enamored with them and I’ve been watching for over 25 years. A straight killer season that focused on DANCE with no added distracted drama. That’s all a fan can ask for and the Settes delivered that every single performance EFFORTLESSLY under LaNeia’s leadership. Every squad ain’t able and everybody can’t relate. 🤭 Ladies, y’all are forever number 1 and the proof is in the material. 💙🤍🩵
