Great look around the MG Cyberster Derek . I think it really is a great looking car in the metal, and there is definitely a market for it here. As you said its more of a weekender than your daily drive and range or efficiency would not be an issue for owners of a roadster.

That’s a lot of money for a “weekender”, I’d wait for the full reviews from people who have driven it before jumping all over this, sure it looks ok from the outside but it’s not much good if it’s not fun to drive and it’s a heavy car.

This is the only place I have seen this preview this morning, so thank you. This car looks good and a UK price of between £50-60k is justified. In this sort of segment I am hoping Alfa Romeo might come up with something this year; I like both versions of Smart Brabus; not so keen on the Volvo EX30 or Zeekr; and probably no longer need a Porsche or some kind. I would like to see a Mazda equivalent two seater. So I would not be in a hurry to make up my mind on a model yet.

MG should take a hard look at the MG F or TF, Renault Wind, Mazda MX5/Miata and Fiat Barchetta. Smaller is better when it comes to convertibles

Why? They are cool. A lot cooler than the gimmicky rollover indicators you see these days. Stupid looking. Much prefer a normal flashing indicator myself.
