This feels like mostly a review of the design rather than the kit. I don't think reviewing the design is particularly relevant because if people weren't interested in the design, they wouldn't even bother watching this review... right? Everything shown in the review indicates that this is the perfect rendition of the Kyrios. The color separation is insane. Kyrios has more little bits of color incorporated into its design than the Zeta, and even the MG Zeta 2.0 relied on some yellow stickers (granted, it's technically an old kit by now) while this doesn't. Btw, the MG Dynames has a bit of an ab crunch in the bottom waist joint. It's a dedicated hinge, so it's there just for the crunch. Since the Kyrios uses the same frame, it should have it as well. It's not much, but it's there.

The ending pose with all three looked amazing. Cant wait for the virtue but that guy will be massive. Since it also has nadlee inside.

I get that the Kyrios is pretty unorthodox looking so a good majority of people don't like it. That being said, I'm sure Hallelujah and 00 fans would absolutely love this in their collection, its just that the suit isn't that appealing to people who don't have any attachment to it. It's a solid well-engineered modern MG with a design that isn't for everyone, and that's fine. Thanks for the review Krow!

Kyrios had the coolest rifle out of the 4 Gundams from season 1. This is just my theory but I feel the MG Alex 2.0 was a testbed to figure out how to engineer the Virtue’s armor around Nadleeh. I could be overthinking it somewhat.

No, Kyrios never held Dynames' gun, in fact I don't remember any of the Gundams switching weapons in the show

Theres no other good Kyrios model kits, so this is a great upgrade for me

Couple of thing I need to address. • After putting the kit in various poses, I do have a stronger appreciation for it. I just don't believe this kit is a top tier MG by any means. • I mentioned a lack of articulation and I was referring to the back bend and ab crunch. After seeing that the Dynames also lacks an ab crunch I don't fault the Kyrios for lacking one as well. However, it's 2020, an ab crunch should be a staple range of movement. • I feel like I put too much bias in this review and I should have toned it down. I don't want y'all thinking I'm trying to make you buy a product, so sometimes I'm too truthful. Aside from that, I still really think the kit is mainly for 00 collectors or for people willing to paint/mod. If you enjoyed the video tho, please consider liking and subscribing for more videos.

Personally I find Virtue less interesting. Kyrios definitely has its fans lol. Arios was a step down design wise. Cuz it removes the few things that Kyrios had going for it. Like the claw shield

I changed the title of the video, because like all things of interest, taste can change for better or for worse. I dont think I was hard on this kit at all, I simply am indifferent to the design. I do praise nearly everything about this kit, minus the lack of more accessories (like the missile pod) or the lack of an ab crunch. Kits good, but could be better.

Solid review, man. I can roll wit it. Plenty of angles and surface area to play with on the custom front. Some pretty rad poses going on here too 🕺🏻

Surely the MG Kyrios may not be that unique but if it can still hold like the MG Dynames, god tier kit imo :D

I'd say this video sold me on the kit but I already knew I was getting one the moment I saw the prototype.

I think it looks great, and Kyrios looks amazing in dynamic poses. The only problem I see is that the v-fin looks a little odd. Kyrios has one of my favorite v-fins but something about it looks off. Maybe it should be longer and a little sharper, but not SEED 2.0 long.

I will buy this kit knowing its flaw. Not everyone will love kyrios. But for me, I love this design a lot. But most importantly, this kyrios got missile pod that hg counterpart doesn't provided. Instant buy for me. Thanks for the review btw

I appreciate giving the torso joint an emphasis and also i do agree that this is a "meh" kit, despite being my favorite design for a gundam. I found this kit to not keep up with the awesome mg dynames.

the rider mode kinda hilarious

why do a lot of you guys don't extend he legs outward a bit in its flight mode? that is why your kyios looks long. the arms should be linear level to the thrusters on the legs. the center portion is for added weapon systems you can print on 3D, like the tail booster or the heavy bombing unit. Kyrios has one of the simplest and best transformations. you dont need to pull out parts like AZ and AGE etc.

I like kyrios more than exia I hope people dont hate on me

The dynames rifle had like 0 significance to the kyrios except for one scene where kyrios was in its flight form and the dynames was prone on it taking shots

man this is if you want the 00 boy band collection type of kit. plus exia really really needs a 2.0 so its up to the standards of the rest. they already ahve the frame just make new armor and you might not even need to make new weapons its too easy now for bandai to pump out an exia 2.0

I dig the absolute hell out of this kit. It's everything I would hope it would be. From what I've seen, compared to every Kyrios that came before, this kit shits on them. Pretty anime accurate. Like you said, you gotta be into this suit or it's Super Soldier pilot to want this pointy creature.

I'll just be collecting the transam version of them, since I already have all the HG hopefully they'll release virtue soon

MG Gundam Virtue hopefully is next, and maybe a 2.0 Exia.

With the release of MG GN-002 Gundam Dynames and now MG GN-003 Gundam Kyrios, I think we can expect MG GN-005 Gundam Virtue (w/ GN-004 Gundam Nadleeh parts) soon. But what I'm hoping for/wondering about is an MG GN-001 Gundam Exia updated with the newer 'GN Frame' inner frame. Going back to this MG... Even though I'm a big fan of Mobile Suit Gundam 00, I never expected this MG to be super impressive. Just remembered it now and I thought that the Kyrios had the same color palette with the Rezel A+B....

I am honestly not too hyped for Kyrios too. I do not say that this kit is bad engineering-wise, it's better than some MGs but somehow it's just feel so lackluster in an unexplainable way. Nevertheless, really appreciate your honest opinion, Krow. I will be getting this kit for sure in the end because I already have Dynames and Exia and I am planning to complete all of the S1 suits

I don't know if anyone realizes this but the MG Exia has one of the best design aesthetic which lacks in both MG Dynames and Kyrios. The two blindly followed the original design instead of a re-rendering for the MG. There could have been lots of design improvements for the kits. I'm a design student so it's a pain in the ass seeing the improvement opportunity neglected. 😭😭

If you ask me. I would rank the design of s1 suits to be 1. Exia 2. Virtue 3. Kyrios 4. Dynames I felt dynames was kinda plain. Kyrios had that flared out thing going for it. Virtue was a surprise. You dont really get to see a THICC BOI gundam design. I think he's thicker than the alex or the fazz with their armor. And Pg, Rg and Mb exia is one sexy sexy boi. The 2007 mg just suck and needs a 2.0. The legs proportions and and ankle design is just awful. Rest of upper body is fine. I still want the Kyrios. Mgs that share the same frames are the perfect kitbash.

How’s that Exia ignition? I gonna get the Kyrios and the eventual Virtue but is the Exia worth buying or should I wait for a 2.0?

Tbh I don’t really like the 00 designs, so despite how good of a kit they are I’m not going to get dynamos, kyrios or future virtue

At the end of the day, design is subjective and I would have to agree that Kyrios is my least favorite of the s1 suits (and overall I don't really care for Allelujah's gundams lol) I personally think Kyrios will be the worst (kit-wise) of the 4 00 s1 MGs (assuming the Virtue and Exia 2.0 are down the line)

Gotta agree that its one of the weakest design in 00, in terms of season 1 I only ever like the exia. HOWEVER the final battle version of the kyrios, the harute is so good looking! wish they made mg version of that but sadly idk maybe 10 more years or never

Yeah, I'd say you're correct. From the moment they announced it, I already knew it wasn't gonna be as good as the other kits. It's partly due to the old design concept. It can turn into a plane, much wow. It doesn't have as much originality as the other 00 kits to me

All the gundams in 00 series are just afterthought designs, except of course for the leads= exia, 00 and quanta. All the others are just fillers. Without much thought and planning behind them. And wouldnt translate great into plastic.
