Best way to describe this kit: Color separation is OFF THE CHAIN but the panel detail is minimalist. The Chobam armor frame detail is OFF THE CHAIN but the Chobam amor detai ls minimalist. The gimmicks are AWESOME, the weapons/shield are great. This kit is something to behold. What an awesome MS! And I don't even like the NT-1!

Once again this is one of those kits that didnt really do anything in particular for me when I saw pictures of it but seeing it from all angles like this, it really blows me away. Dangy dang this is a cool looking kit. Requested one at one of my favorite gundam dealers immediately after seeing this.

Izubuchi's designs are really underrated imo (Unless it's the Nu or Sazabi), this kit looks fantastic and I really appreciate that they went with anime accuracy in mind with this kit, rather than getting Katoki to make a ver. Ka. I hope this means that more OVA MS's get anime accurate focused 2.0's in the future.

Awesome review as always. For me the selling point of this is the arm gattling guns... I'm gettn tempted to pick this up... Hmmm... I need a Physalis 2.0 badly!!!

Man, all of the MG kits this year has been amazing. The Sinanju Stein NT is based on one of the best ver.Ka to date, the EX-S and Age-2 Magnum look absolutely amazing, and both fixed a lot of the old kits flaws, the Dynames is basically perfect, this Alex 2.0 is an absolute joy to build. And man, the Zaku Warrior really seems to continue this trend. Hope we’ll get a big and absolutely mind-blowing MG for the end of this year.

Great review! This is a kit I would do a military scheme with. All the hatch gimmicks, the stacked exo frame and Chobam over armor; a stand out kit!

My god I love this suit even more now. I kind of would have wished for a little more surface detail but the decals should fill out some detail. I really want to see a HG Revive or even a RG of the Alex in the future.

The NT-1 was supposed to go to Amuro once it was ready for deployment. I wonder if they did an alt universe story showing Amuro piloting the NT-1.

This should also be Bandai’s chance to redeem the Tristan, after that s***-tier HG that we got in 2017. And I don’t mind it being P-Bandai; considering its bad reputation (due to how the OVA went and, as mentioned, its crap HG) and thus only few people wanting it. Otherwise, I can see a few pro builders modifying the hell out of this to make their own Tristan. Oh yeah, and keep up with the skits too! P.S. With the announcement of the MG Barbatos, I wonder is we are gonna get a broken V-fin for it too, considering it tends to break its V-fin quite often too. :P

At first this kit was a hard pass for me probably because I just got used to the slim torsos of the Seed and 00 MGs. But those details got me considering to get one. 😁 I love those gatling guns, the shield gimmick and that interesting knee bend gimmick. Great review as always, Krow! 😁
