We have the ZS auto. Exclusive. Can't believe all the extras for the money. Rides beautifully plenty of leg room all round. Wife loves the easy clean interior after the grand kids have been in it. Overall so far total satisfaction.

Watched plenty of content on the ZS over the past few months, and test driven all of the current, petrol options. I decided on the 1.5, Excite (entry level) trim. This car is all about value for money, and the 'excite' does that the best here. What's perhaps even more subjective though, is pretty much every addition that comes with the 'exlusive' trim level just isn't as great in realiity as the 'headlines' would have you believe. Some examples: The leaterette seats - They're okay, and intiially make you feel like you're in a more premium car, but the seats in the excite trim are very comfortable too (and don't get much attention in these reviews). The heated seats - Only 1 setting (On/off) - No moderation in heat, and I found myself turning it off within 10 minutes due to it being too much. The digital dash (vs. analog dials in 'excite') - The rev counter reading is alway registering at x100 RPM, meaning the the digital read out is just plain annoying most of the time, and jumps about too much during driving. What's more - the information provided by the 'digital' fitmet doesn't display any more information than that of the smaller display housed in between the excites' analog speedo and rev counter. I also feel the analog dials are a classier fitmet too (subjective, I know!). Sat Nav - A completely pointless fitment for anyone who has access to Waze/ Apple Maps, etc. In fairness, I found the in-build sat nav to be ALOT LESS laggy on my test drive than most reviews would have you believe! 360 parking camera - To some, the parking/ 360 cameras will bring huge appeal towards the Exclusive. I thought the same initially, but, frankly I found the picture quaulity to be one of the worst I've seen in any modern car, and I would almost go as far to say it actually cheapens the general 'feel' of the car. It's really poor! Sunroof - No longer being offered on any petrol variant! Due to "costs" (according to my local dealer). I generally have a lot of like for the car, and I know there a few other things in the Exclusive model which I've not mentioned, but if you're really after a great value car - I strongly recommened the Excite!

I like this presenter , he seems really cool. I can't make up my mind on this car. The first generation looked really geeky and mumzy (the front of the car looks lower than that back). This one is definitely an improvement looks wise but still not there. But for the price , it's worth it

I have the 1.5 Excite and it's been great. All you get extra on the Exclusive the Leather interior which ain't Leather it's synthetic. The cams and satnav. Well with mobile phones who needs satnav. It appears you now get a sunroof.

watching this video is the thing that made my mind up to buy a MG ZS Exclusive Auto, and I love it! part exchanged a C-class for it and it was no comedown

i have the 1 litre turbo (auto) exclusive sadly that did not come with sunroof which would have been nice ,i do find it is pretty nippy and love the cool blind spot indicators in the wing mirrors

It has all the bells and whistles, yet no rear air vents. a shame when you live in a country like Australia. Also, the sun roof not having a solid interior cover. Gonna notice that on a 110 degree day lol. Good review, thank you.

There is a mix up here, the 12.1 0-60 time is for the automatic, MG claim 10.5 for the 1.0 manual and 10.4 for the 1.5 manual.

My next door neighbour just got one of these had it a week took it back said it couldn’t pull the skin off a rice pudding,it’s that slow ,no power ,got money back went elsewhere 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Thanks for the helpful review. My feeling is that MG are almost there but not quite. There seem to be a few niggles and improvements that need to be made before I'd buy one, even though it's great value. Hopefully on the next update. 🤞🏻

my wife has the 1.0 exclusive auto, April 22, no panoramic roof. not a smooth auto like my Ford and I find the steering too light it has a few electric glitches like driving lights come on on bends, roundabouts, not just one though, both of them, also the rear wiper comes on automatically whether it is raining or not when you go into reverse, a real pain when the window is dusty as it will eventually mark the rear screen.....it gets you from A to B but I dont think I would buy another one.....yet.....and yes I have been back to the dealer and they say they are all the same...

Had one as a hire car, the steering and body roll were awful. It’s also got the worst stereo in any car. Don’t buy it. It was a very frustrating car. Also the radio comes on every time you start the car whether you like it or not, and it makes so many beeps and bongs. The presenter is rather fun though.

the only thing putting me off this car is the crash test rating.

I have the 1.5 it's more power than that one it's 0-60in 10.4 sec I've not tried it . But its a great car brought it new in march for £21,235.very slow 0-62 that is. I only drive round town at the moment and I get 32to 33.Ur not driving very well if it's going every where mine holds the rd good but I am an ex biker lol . Exhausts are fake lol all of them are fake now..

I've just bought my second mg zs exclusive had the cheaper trim on my last car no panoramic sunroof on mine think mg has stopped doing them excellent car for the money could do with a better sound system though 🤔

How does this have a panoramic roof? They’ve never sold the ICE ZS with this?
