Oh, easy. So my best advice is to work out whether you want to save time and pay 15 cents to 30 cents more per kW (roughly) by using either 350kW/250kW/150kW rated chargers. These will charge the fastest, usually are newer (so less likely to be offline) and depending on your car, can top you up to 80% within 15-20 mins. Chargefox and Evie Networks both use these. Ampol's Ampcharge chargers are also another choice for me, although a little slower at 75kW (and for the same price as the faster ones), I find they are very reliable and usually deliver close to max speed when charging even when other cars are there. I would avoid BP Pulse charging network unless desperate as the charge huge money, but deliver terrible speeds when another car plugs in that has superior charging tech to yours. I recently had them go from 74kW to 23kW because the Polestar 2 that plugged in while topping up could "out charge" mine. So it throws a quick top-up stop from 20-30 mins to 1.5 hours. Unacceptable. Finally, avoid 50kW chargers at all costs unless you are happy increasing your charging times and want to take forever to get to your destination. If you aren't in a rush, these do make for cheap charging and an opportunity to explore country towns though. Oh, and try not to charge more than 70-80% of your battery to speed up your charging times, if you have a bigger battery (70kWh+) you can even drop that to 50-60% if you want to take a rest break every 2-3 hours.

Sydney to Brisbane cost $112 in charging. My typical charging stop was $25-35 for a 34kWh top-up

notice the vibration at around 100 to 110km/h ? its funny that nearly every MG4 X power has it but reviewers tend to gloss over it.. Otherwise its a great car except for the scary lane keep assist the stupid phone charger pad and the poor tyres for the wet the turanzas just dont grip well enough in the wet.. ( price point vs comfort maybe) Ive clocked over 2600 kms in my Xpower now and apart from my list ( vibration included ) everything else im very happy with .. As for economy its not great in the grand scheme of things but people forget 320kw 600nm if you want economy buy the non x power because the eco mode on the X power cuts the front motor and may as well be a stocky MG4 im averaging 21kw/100km mostly driven in normal mode suburb driving .. Still costing me less than my old 2012 s60 t6 awd volvo in fuel ..

Thanks for watching and for your feedback. Let me respond to a few points below. I personally didn’t feel any vibration on this car and was something I was looking for as I’ve seen others say something similar, however, I spent 2,000km with this car mostly at highway speeds and didn’t notice it once. I drove this car in solid rain on the drive between Sydney and Brisbane and then on the drive back from Brisbane to Sydney it rained half the trip, again, zero issues with stability or feeling safe in the wet. Lane keep assist is no different to any other car (if anything it doesn’t push you back into the lane enough) so I’m unsure if the software has been updated in this car. Having previously driven a BYD Seal prior to their software update, I definitely would have noticed aggressive lane keeping as I HATED it in that car as you’ll see me mention it in my review (including in my long term review) I’ve done over 250,000km in EVs now so sometimes I wonder if my efficiency is influenced by long term exposure to understanding how to drive an EV differently to someone who comes from a traditional petrol/diesel vehicle.

@@roadtrip_reviews ive lost the car a few times ( with all the aids on ) in the wet front end sliding in a roundabout ( id like to say pushing it but NO ) it constantly loses traction under heavy acceleration in a straight line .. ive even lost the rear to a degree with slightly aggressive power into a bend .. The stock tyres are not good !! lane keep issue stems from it jerking the wheel randomly into the lane your already in between which it does constantly.. as for the vibration its there i can assure you it just varies from car to car .. ive noticed mine is worse than when i test drove it .. ( easily mistaken for road surface from time to time ) my car has just done over 8000 kms Colour mine is a EX demo so the camden grey was the colour i got .. did the black badge cover on the front badge looks a treat !! Dont get me wrong its a great car and i love it no doubt but it has issues some BAD some no so BAD and some that need to be fixed through software and a recall !!

@@volvot6rdesignawd702 oh nice. The grey would look nice! It’s definitely an interesting one as most EVs will opt for low rolling resistance tyres to improve range vs extra grippy sports car tyres even in performance models. The rain I had both times was pretty intense and I was surprised with how well it went for me. I’m jumping back into another XPower soon but the 64 Essence is coming up soon too so I’ll keep an eye on the vibration to see if those cars have it.

@@roadtrip_reviews the vibration is only in the X power while MG are sitting on there hands quite a bit on the issue ( alot of uk owners are jumping up and down about it) If you put the X power in eco it disconnects the front motor and the vibration goes away which points me to the front motor being the issue .. ( what exactly the issue is not sure ) drive the car to over 130km/h vibration /drone disappears !! doesnt seem like a balance issue otherwise anything out of balance would get worse the faster it goes !! Taking my car to MG tomorrow to get the navigation fixed / software issue .. going to jump up and down a bit about the vibration at 100 plus km/h
