I think the biggest dilemma I have with the 6 vs 7 seater is whether the bench seat is really practical or not when you have two child seats on it as I think the middle seat will be extremely compromised and the seat belts might get stuck behind the child seats on the two outer positions. I'm also leaning towards 6 seat (no pun intended) since it means you don't need to fold the seats forward to get to the third row and can shuffle past and through the middle.

Great cars and great comparison. I bought the BZ4X limited, AWD because I'm a Toyota loyalist but I give points to the Subaru for the squared off steering wheel, fog lights and the power folding mirrors which aren't an option the US version BZ

50-60 dollars a charge is still a lot cheaper than a petrol car for similar ks. although not quite 6 dollars a tank

Bought the Solterra. It's such a minor difference though. The Subaru feels a little more sporty to me, but I'm sure it's all in my head. My US model has vented seats.

For 2024 the SOLTERRA has ventilated seats. No sure what model year your video is about.

2024 model car (only just released in Australia) and the vehicle was from Subaru. We even show it that it’s only heated seats in the video and you can see on the full specification list that it only has heated seats. www.subaru.com.au/solterra/specs

Ethel Beach is amazing! I was there 2 months after the fatal shark attack so it was empty. Inneston ghost town iz very cool especially at night 👻

Beautiful! I’m in UK and not yet launched, so it’s good to see the right hand drive model. Have any features been removed from the original Korean version? Does the remote park work for instance? I know the front LED light bar removed from European version, really hope that’s all

So there’s no self parking in Australian models but there is remote smart park assist which allows you to move the car backwards and forwards using the remote control. And no front LED light bar either. Overall though, an excellent car!

I would only prefer the GR over this because its gets rock slides and removes the rear sway bar for heavier off roading.

@@judencci6873 incorrect. In Australia the Solterra Touring offers front and rear heated seats but not ventilated seats. Only the bz4X does.

During testing we experienced 10-12l/100km During previous ownership of a 2017 model, it used roughly the same fuel as tested before adding accessories.
