He's saying that because the Solid Eye covers one of his eyes, giving the illusion that Snake's wearing an eye patch like Big Boss.

I saw the scene with captions once when my brother played it. He said "eyes" but the acting slurred it a little bit so it sounds like he said "eye". But I thought the same thing at first. Or maybe I'm misremembering and you were right all along.

On this it does seem as though he is saying it as my comment is written, but I have never played MGS 4 so I have no idea. Either way Psycho Mantis makes it legendary.

Didn't you already put the controller on the floor when Mantis asked you to? Seriously though, that was an epic moment seeing both Psycho Mantis and The Sorrow - renowned Metal Gear legends - reappear with their signature traits that made them so memorable. In retrospect, we probably should've seen it coming considering the use of both a Mantis puppet and a Sorrow puppet. I like to think that it's also cool symbolism; Both Psycho Mantis and The Sorrow were like actual puppets which lead to their respective deaths. For The Sorrow, it was the fact that either he or the Boss had to die to keep their son alive and The Sorrow chose himself to die, and for Mantis, it was his succumbing to his nihilistic views stemming from his childhood and following Liquid just like he'd been since the events of MGSV when they were kids.

Had to press the L1 or R1 button to see The Sorrow's Spirit above the railing, he probably pulled Psycho Mantis back. It's a hidden input. The person here forgot to do it.

It was a pure Psychotic minute of nostalgia and Sorrow. I was so hyped seeing both of them return, Mantis for his comedic 4th wall-breaking and The Sorrow for his mysterious yet charismatic aura.

There's two version of the 5th, Ground Zeroes (Prologue) and The Phantom Pain (TBA and Actual Game), That trailer you're talking about is for The Phantom Pain, it's not really confirmed if it is Psycho Mantis or not, but many speculate that it is him in a younger form

agreed MGS3(PS2), MGSPW(PSP), MGS5(PS3/4-Xbox360/One?PC), MG1, MG2, MGS1(PS1, PC), MGS2(PS2,PC), and MGS4(PS3) in the narrative order imo. if not mistaken should cover the whole story.

If you used the Sixaxis controller, the PS3 controller with only Sixaxis and without vibration, he said something about it not being there. But when using the DS3, the vibration is back into the Playstation controller. Hence "Vibration is back"
