@@bapanada at least in world, if you are willing to sacrifice some dps, you can emulate 4U playstile :/ but to be honest in mhxx at least, it still works an it is the choice of many speed runners i've seen.

@@bapanada I've played with World CB as im a main of it in 4U and GU,and i thought it was Great Although that might also just be me,as the sheer amount of things to keep track of with Cb which was increased with World,might bother some people That's the main complaint I've heard about Cb,other than simply just Ultra Burst being the only move that matters when you have charge

@@salj.5459 If I see it correctly he was trying to morph into axe mode, the beginning of that animation does have a guard point Which is probably why he began doing that instead of any other attack to block the fireball instead of getting hit

Are you saying that the Rathalos got KO'd but the midair flinch took priority, and then the KO occurred after? Because I've never seen that before, KO usually gets priority.

@@salj.5459 The midair flinch always takes priority, it does so with KO/Sleep/Para It will fall down, be downed, stand up, and instantly fall down again In 2nd gen games it's very obvious because you can stun/para/traplock so easily, the effects dont override eachother, especially in pitfalls or in the air If you paralyze a monster, while hitting the head with a KO capable weapon, you can reach (and go beyond) the KO threshhold while it's paralyzed, which leads to the monster instantly being KO after it without interrupting the para duration You just don't see it often because when do you ever reach the head of a flying monster with a hammer while the status is built up enough, and most people don't play hh with its long reach Excuse my ranting, tl;dr what you said is correct
