Thanks Mike! I agree about the angels. I have a 75n gallon that has angels and corys and it is very cool to watch! I also have Michigan hard water and have had no issues with angels!

I do choice angel, blue acara and albino corydoras. But i think i'll be upgrade my tank to 100 cm * 40 cm * 40 cm. I have high interest in Amerucan cichlid, because i only have softwater

As long as they're not too small to be eaten, and yet the Blue Acara is pictured with tiny cardinal tetras? Those cardinals are lunch for sure.

Thanks Nikki. I actually still have those tetras. I have done some rearranging and have since moved the fish. I wouldn’t have put new tetras on their though.

@@FishTankBarn I love the little cardinals and neons but it's so hard to find tankmates for them that won't just turn them into hors d'oeuvres. =(

Nice video Mike! Do you think an Electric Blue Acara would work as a single centerpiece for a 40 breeder with dwarf rainbows, Pork Chop Rasboras, Emerald Tiger Rasboras and Habrosus Cories?

Thanks TJ. I think the Acara might get too big and eat the two rasbora species. Especially once it’s full grown

I wanted to keep plants in my aquarium so I left it to mature with dwarf hairgrass carpet, java fern and swordplant, can I put severum and electric acara in the tank

Unfortunately the severums will probably eat the plants.

It really depends on the tank. This video is a little older but I was running led strips lights, as well as Aqua neat lights at the time.

I would you could keep a group of 6-8 but there will aggression issues if they start pairing off

That would be fine. Keep an eye on the angels, if they pair off and start breeding they can get a little territorial

Most angels are captive bred now so you should be ok as long as you don't have wild caught

You can keep them. You might find some aggression once they pair off.

I found angelfish to be beautiful but BORING. They always seemed to drift about darting at one another every now and then only getting truly active when it was feeding time. I prefer tiger barbs or cichlids.

Bumblee bee cichlid are super aggressive over 2yrs mine has killed probably a dozen of my fish

I am pretty sure I didn’t recommend bumblebee cichlids in this video. Species like purple acei and yellow labs are much less aggressive

Depends on what type of Danios. Most Danios I would say no but maybe if you had giant danios it might work.

Maybe a small one but you will have to upgrade to a pond or very large aquarium if it grows
