All I know is after watching this Julie needs to win Mom of the year award! I thought Kiki was deserving after having Loki and dealing w Riki’s antics, but to have Ceria clinging to her 24/7 plus deal with Riki aggravating them, and She’s only a surrogate to Ceria....after watching the behavior of some of the other females with their true birth children...I firmly vote for Julie in this category. Ceria will come into her own, and Riki will be Riki, that’s his personality now and no matter how much we all moan that we wish he would change, until he matures this is who he is. Honestly, as much as I wish these guys were living happily in the wild, the reality is that they are here, and for the most part being well taken care of compared to a lot of zoos I’ve visited and seen. We can comment and judge and talk about all the things that are wrong with this picture and their behavior, but at the end of the day, we all still come back and watch, and are given the chance to be entertained, and to learn and laugh and watch these guys grow into these amazing personalities. I just want to say that I’m grateful to Himawari and I- Bosch and all the others that spend hours filming and editing, and to this zoo for keeping these guys safe and healthy and to all of you who are providing me with Knowledge about these incredible creatures. Riki is thriving for attention.what started as jealously towards Cierra and feeling left out has turned to using any tactic he can to aggravate Julie and taunt little Cierra. The more she clings to Julie the more Riki harasses. Unfortunately until someone puts Riki in his place hes going to keep stepping it up to the point it could become dangerous. These guys act bored and really get feisty over thier good and playthings. More different types enrichment might help. They are so smart and I love how they share with us and take care of them.

And every day, Riki will never learn. First, Cheria wants to play (rope / railing) and then he scares her so much that she constantly stays on Julie 's back. Come on Riki give you a jerk and be a little nicer to Cheria. You two could be such beautiful game partners. And poor Julie would have less load on her back.

Stalker Riki! Lol! He is so naughty! Poor Ceria can't play alone for very long because Riki has to always torment her. I wish Julie would hit him and really make it hurt so he stops! Thanks for another great vid, Himawari!

What is the screaming sound in back..

Was it one of your videos when he was being quite naughty and had found a small hole in the wooden platform and was being a bit inappropriate by putting his little boy parts in the hole?? If so could you tell me which video it was? I was telling my husband but I could not find the video again!

I don't know why people are ripping on Riki for. If you watched earlier videos you would see that Riki was tormented and tortured by a one of the older females really bad. He was one of the sweetest little ones I have seen. . So he is only doing what he was taught and that was to play extremely rough. Not to mention that the males are dominant in this breed and he is only doing what comes naturally. These are wild animals with their own instincts and not humans. He is also curious as to the new female on the block and jealousy isn't a part of it. This will be his rule one day. You should be more concerned for the animal crying out in the back.
