I am a Muslim, Arabian, brown girl, strictly brought up,I believe that being involved in adult movies is not a good idea, which is yes is a mistake, but for Allah's sake she never harmed/ killed anyone for it!! people are not fair to her. What she's doing to Lebanon is what the Lebanese people need now with all instability, economic crisis, and good candidates for the government, blocking her from visiting Lebanon is harsh too, Mia should feel safe going to her country, as she is Lebanese citizen, she has the ultimate rights to go anywhere she wants!! There's a vicious attack on women, if Mia was a man, most people would applaude for him!! The fact she is a woman, she is struggling alot!!

Shes American citizen, lebanon never blocked her from visiting she chooses not to go, she never donated $500k theyre giving her credit for. Her glasses never sold and she herself said she would livestream herself wiring the money and she hasnt

I am your fan Mia and I am a women. I don't like you less for what you did, I like you more. If that wouldn't happend, you wouldn't have been able to help so many people today including myself. I am not native english. Your interviews are gold. You are one of the few people on this planet still aware of himself and real. If everybody would do that we would have such a nice planet. I hope in the future you will make a youtube account. Continue to do what you are doing and forget about the limited people. This is your purpose on this planet and what you do is very brave and you are just perfect the way you are! Literally, you have done nothing wrong. You've tried your best always. I am a Lebanese man, and I must say, this was a very beautiful, open-minded talk between the hosts and Mia, and I am so happy that this KZfaq channel exists so we could have the right type of talks exchanged and shared with the public, not like those that are biased or are only caring about TV ratings and public views on Lebanese or Middle Eastern national TVs. I also am an outsider to the conventional minds in Lebanon and I know how hard it is when we directly or indirectly 'scratch the surface' of a traditionally-minded or a blindly religious-minded person from Lebanon (or from anywhere else), and so I support the presenters here and Mia, and I thank Mia for her intiative to help Lebanon. I am really thankful for this episode. Especially Mia Khalifa, but also all of the diaspora has a complicated and very individualistic relationship with Lebanon, I think? Sometimes, you wonder if you are Lebanese enough to feel affected by what's happening. Are you allowed? Or are you claiming something that is not yours to claim? There's a lot of guilt involved. Especially when you know your family and friends are still living there and having to have to deal with these things daily. I love her confidence and I like that she can admit her mistakes and ignorance.

.ميا قالت I don't want to put Lebanon more into the mud بالتعبير العربى : حطت راسنا ف الطين و كمان قالت انها بتحس self hatred & shameful الجملتين دول بالنسبالى كانوا eye-opening على حقيقة شعور الممثلين دول و انها مش حرية جذابة زى م بيتروج ليها هنا فى مصر ...و ان الفطرة أو السيكولوجى بتاعنا سليم و زى الفل لأن حتى هما بيحسوا بالتقزز و الاشمئزاز من الأفلام دى أنا حبيت بس مقدمين البرنامج كان يسيبوها فترة أطول تتكلم أنا حاسس انها continuously agonized by her stigma and the fact that she can't undo/delete what she did for the rest of her life عندنا هنا فى مصر كان الفنانين لما يتوبوا يحرقوا اسطوانات أفلامهم ...لكن بالنسبة ل ميا الخيار غير متاح But I love the fact that she spoke up to protect other girls from doing the same mistake again even if she saved only one soul from getting hurt that's more than enough

I come from a Lebanese Maronite family on my father's side..The woman (my Aunt's,cousins)on that side have all been strong,outspoken and lived there lives on their own terms.It may be part of the culture.It maybe their reaction to being brought up in a male dominant family culture..It takes alot to stand up and speak out from her point of view from where she's coming This is creating dialogue that is healthy..and hopefully change..

I honestly have the upmost respect for Mia, I never judged her before for what she did because we all do mistakes and we move on. Came here from ABTalks and this was the first recommended episode. I enjoyed it and already looked through the catalog for the next in line. However, and this is not the first time Mia did this, when asked about her Hijab scene Mia deflects, deflects, deflects, plays the victim, then deflects some more. She was a 21 years old ADULT and she was the main talent for the scene. She had the power to decline and refuse the imposed depiction. She might not have realized this but the very least she should take full accountability for this. Especially now that she’s grown, matured and know better. Deflection and playing the powerless victim is not a good look on you Mia.

It's shocking how u guys see her past as empowerment what a shock. Anyway I just want to note that before Lebanon took on religion it was a very conservative country before anything else. Lebanon shares many cultural values with Asian countries even countries that are atheist. People in Lebanon today are just using religion as a mask when they see something that don't fit into their culture but in all honestly it's bc Lebanese people have a collective mindset while people in the west have individual mindset. I've seen that mindset in every country outside the western world. The collective mindset is something u will see everywhere around the world.

Yes Mia is calm and intelligent, Regarding the hijab, it's not new, there are some women with hijab for a long time they go out with their friends and they make love and sex it's rare cases that exist, except that Mia exposed this by naivete. You also mentioned the problem of virginity, this exists among the Christian Catholic gypsy community in France, also in Italy certain Italians, these people who preserved their virginity. Then, if Mia Khalifa had met other porn producer and actor, like Manuel Ferarra of French origin who shoots in America, he makes good porn, because it depends on the porn industry sometimes there are decent people who do respectful work towards female actors.

I'm ashamed to say i didn't know anything . I love that she is using her voice for bringing awareness to the middle east. Now that Palestinians of all ages are being murdered and I heard she was one of the few celebraties speaking up (which is a hard thing to do) so i decided to watch some of her interviews and im so glad i did.

At some points during the interview, it felt like the criticisms of predatory industries and misogynistic cultures/societies danced around the root cause of these issues without calling it out head-on.
