This was so helpful. I would get so frustrated with myself because I was doing all the work, and the pain continued to increase. I need to calm myself down, instead of panicking because the pain is getting worse. I am so glad to hear her story. This gives me a lot of hope. I am too hard on myself and want to feel better now, but I need to take the pressure off myself.

Grateful you shared your story. Was on this track over a year ago and got derailed and very determined this time! I like knowing that certain things didn’t work for you because it reduces the pressure if something doesn’t work for me that “should” work. Thanks again and congratulations on your healing!

What is noodling? It sounds awesome :) Is there a video?

@@HeidiHarner the noodling is mentioned in the video. It's a technique that Jim P recommends to practice throughout the day. Basically, sit quietly, relax, then imagine you are a soft plate of noodles! Jim P would be able to tell you more about it. Good luck!

So helpful - thank you for sharing! Also that it Took you a certain time. I am a headache / migraine sufferer and practise for several weeks. It SLOWLY gets better but takes so much Energy to not give up. Therefore it is very encouraging to continue. 🙏

Thanks so much Mia. Your success story is so helpful. I can relate to all that you said. You articulate with words that explain it so I can understand myself better. Never feeling safe in this world. Perfectionist. Not being able to feel emotions in the body, but in the head. Growing up in a big family and being the eldest daughter. Lots of responsibility. Not being taught how to be emotionally healthy. I have had different symptoms to you. More back and neck pain and now stomach issues. I have my own success story. I am on my way to living a more peaceful life without all the tension. I call it body armour. I am so happy for you. Thanks again for sharing so much appreciated. Thanks Jim as well for taking the time to put these success stories on youtube.

Great success story. Hit on a lot of points that I needed clarification on and gave me a realization that I needed to maybe take note of what works for me and use a combination of those things. Thanks sooo much for sharing !!! I for one truly appreciate it 😊

I have had persistent headaches several times a week for over 20 years. I appreciated this interview so much. I’ve been doing the work for several months, including group coaching. I needed to hear that it can take longer than I had hoped for! Thank you. Thanks for the encouragement.

What a great interview! Mia, thank you for sharing. This resonates with me. “The only thing you need to do is feel safe.” It doesn’t matter how you get there or what method you use. I’m still struggling a little with frustration over my symptoms (neural circuit dizziness), but I’m not giving up. It’s funny, the main activity that makes me feel safe and normal is jumping/exercising on my mini-trampoline!!! I love it! Thanks again.

That’s why I do a ledger of sorts because I won’t remember from one day to the next so when I’m feeling awful I can look back and see several days with 👍 and realize oh, I didn’t feel like crap yesterday.

.Interesting interview guys! Keep the good work with this channel. I also found the somatic tracking challenging in the beginning. However I found tapping very helpful and quicker than meditation. I advise to give it a try. I'm doing my best to share this therapy in Italy. Difficult but the awareness is growing slowly

I would beg to differ that it doesn’t matter WHY you have pain related to the past or present. I would think some rudimentary understanding of the connection between childhood and the feeling you are having now might be very helpful. It has been for me!

I don't consider anything "woo woo" anymore because even the woo woo stuff helps some people and maybe they're woo woo because science hasn't caught up yet.

It’s hard to elicit what exactly she did to feel safe other than self talk. I’ve found that you can say something to yourself over and over but the ego/inner child does not believe it.
