Күн бұрынI've made a video comparing the two but I wanted to make a new video because I still get a lot of questions regarding the two. I feel there's no wrong choice between both these chains. Miami Cuban is a really popular chain. The baby curb is a variant of the Miami Cuban. If you're looking for a link style chain that has a lot of weight, both of these are great options. These are solid gold chains made in Italy. Best of the best!

I think you should do more 22kt gold period, I use to shy away from it, but after seeing it and person and actually touching its definitely durable and its color tone is hypnotic. Pictures really don't do it justice, I think you should get some 22k ropes

I like the Miami Cuban link because of the more full look. I could see how the baby curbs could be preferred at smaller sizes because of the diamond cuts.

Your diamond cut Franco’s are beautiful as is. Tricolor is what I was after just because I don’t see it much, but over in NY, I couldn’t even find a diamond cut Franco. I got a classic. I appreciate your channel. I refer it to get all my information I needed to leave jewelry with what I want with a price I’m comfortable paying.

I have both. They look similar, but the closer you look, the more differences you see. Cubans are a little tighter, but not that much more. And yeah, baby curbs definitely look fuller as they seem somewhat thicker. Even at the same width, baby curbs seem kind of thicker and look bigger.

@@TheHuntedLion Yeah, I have both. I have the Baby Curb 2.7mm and the Miami Cuban 2.5mm. Both at 30 inches. They also sell a 2.4mm Baby Curb, but I don’t see a huge difference between that and the 2.7mm and it doesn’t seem wider than the 2.5mm Miami Cuban I have. Between the Baby Curb and Miami Cuban, they look the same from a distance. Up close, the Miami Cuban is more curved and smoother. The gaps between the links are smaller, too, but not overwhelmingly so, but you can see it’s tighter up close. They’re still pretty tight on the Baby Curb, however. The Baby Curb is thicker and less round. The surface is flatter. I would say the Miami Cuban seems shinier and sort of smoother. I also have bracelets of both - 5mm Miami Cuban and 5.5mm Baby Curb. With the bigger sizes, you will notice the differences way more. Baby Curb looks bulkier and blockier and the Miami Cuban looks smoother and its links are noticeably tighter. Between the two, I like them both about the same. I think the Baby Curb is an underrated chain, though. I’ve only seen two other places sell it other than Jacoje and I’m surprised more vendors even sell it and that it isn’t more popular on Jacoje. You can’t go wrong with either chain really.

Miami cubans all day. Such a classy, and chic, baller design. Can be subtle with a 5mm or flashy with a 10mm. But either way the tight links just cant go wrong.

Good vid bro Was thinking of getting a 3..2mm I saw your video about Cubans getting twisted with the pendant on it … then I saw in the Nother video you said 3.2 and 2.5 mm are good for pendants… does that mean those smaller millimeters won’t get twisted like in your video?

Why is it cheaper to buy the chain and pendant separately on your website and when you select the chain with the pendent it’s $10 more. (Judging this off the mini cross with the 1mm Franco).

The chains vary on price and weight per batch. I update the Solitare chains when they arrive but not all the pendants with chains. So a new batch can weigh slightly less or more.

Excellent jewelry resource, your channel! Thank you. Question please: I know that 24” chains fit over my head without unclasping. Why are more chains not sold as single piece (no clasp)? I’d prefer that from a looks and loss protection standpoint. Respect your thoughts, thank you.

different chains. baby curb is thicker than flat curb. Flat curb is sort of similar width to a figaro chain.
