Derek, this is great! You're putting up so much great content! It sure is great to see those two together again. I can't believe the access you have to our heroes! I'have seen the three first seasons and I like so much. I'll watch the season 4 tomorrow. A american serie of very good quality. From a french fan, long and beautiful life.

The Avalon hotel was used as the model for the Ocean View hotel in the GTA VICE CITY game. Just an interesting fact. Miami Vice was always my favorite series. Health and blessings to all the actors.

I was living on Hollywood Beach in 1984. I remember seeing an ad in the Miami Herald for extras for this TV Show. This was July, August time frame. Unfortunately, I was attending summer school at BCC and couldn't go but loved the show when it came out that Fall.

MV was the greatest show, it affected culture to literally changing what we could see and hear(was the first show to use actual artists/bands with their songs) on tv. A lot of big names started out on MV most ppl have no clue; Bruce Willis, Liam Neeson, Julia Roberts, Benicio Del Toro etc I am puzzled to see... err not see that Don and Phil currently are not listed to be at the reunion!?

don johnson was at Caesers Palae in Vegas in about 1986-87 (I’m thinking) playing ‘21’ at about $200 a hand. If Don is reading this, he knows. Oh, and that was long before youtube. Little would he know that someone would be able to write this for all to see and know, some 37 years hence. Amazing what the brain can store as far as past memories over such a vast expanse of time.

I'm not a huge fan of _Miami Vice_ but this TV show had the best theme (along with _Twilight Zone_ 1985). Jan Hammer, great musician. Just listen to _Elegant Gypsy_ by Al Di Meola.
