I consider it that, but also them exposing a lot of these other companies for simply overcharging and dishonest marketing tactics. 20+ years ago the gun space was not like this, it's only been a recent phenomenon of super priced stuff and the acting as if anything below is unsatisfactory.
@user-nc1ce5qy6n
@user-nc1ce5qy6n 5 ай бұрын
@stevem4783 it definitely used to be different. I'm a firm believer in you get what you paid for, and everyone should get paid for their work but stuff really got ridiculous. I mean just the difference in price for moving up to a different caliber from the same manufacturer or some ammo is more expensive just cause it's a different caliber when it uses less lead, powder and brass. It really makes no logical sense that a 6.5 grandel should cost the same as a 308 or a 338 should cost the same as a 50 cal. I get it, some companies use different more expensive materials and more precise tools and machinery that makes the process slower but for range ammo, come on man someone should really call em out on this scam. And to make things worse you have idiots who support and follow people who are protected with taxpayers money funded weapons trying to take your right to protect yourself and exercise your rights. I'm not a pessimistic individual nor a paranoid one but I can see clearly when someone is trying to jerk my chain. And that's why I respect this company and the ones like them but what really made me love them was they offered the opportunity to build your own platform according to your budget and intent. People want to be snobbist and elitist all they want but there's plenty of video evidence on how a 50k$ guided missile malfunctions or a 350 million F22 falls out of the sky

With that in mind, I do think they need to chill with the amount of firearms they're trying to produce in terms of different replicas etc. And turn their focus to bringing their quality and QC up to par. They have the ability to push into the realm of BCM and up but they want to bring all these one off weapons out.

It's funny, when BCM started it was crapped on by many then everyone figured out the quality from there. I was one who got quite a lot from there. One of my go to rifles is a BCM light weight mid uppers. The PSA came out I tried and wasn't disappointed. Fair enough in quality and price. PSA has had some issues but stand by their products. Of "failures" I had a bolt catch break a quite phone call they responded and shipped me a replacement parts. No other failures on (my PA-10) I don't remember any problems with any AR-15 parts and I definitely have a bunch from PSA. I've recommended them to many people on a tight budget. To one's who don't need to budget their purchases I still remind them that PSA has got good products. As of now everyone should know where the barrels they use are from.

Great review, thanks! I am also a big fan of PSA, as much for what they are doing to make solid firearms accessible to the working stiff as for the products themselves. One note - I would suggest the next time you take a 308 gas gun out for testing, grab a few boxes of Ammo Inc. signature 168 gr ammo - that stuff pisses me off how well it shoots in both my AR10 (PSA upper/lower w/ 20" BA barrel) and my 700 ADL. I've tried a bunch of different match grade ammo from Remington, Federal, and Hornady, as well as handloads, and nothing so far shoots any better than the cheap (if you can call $20/box cheap) Ammo Inc. stuff.

I’ve had good results with PSA’s enhanced polished trigger (EPT) for a gun defensive setup. This Sabre trigger looks impressive and I do own high end triggers as well.

I'm a marine Veteran former infantry and I have noticed that my p S.A. Products do not perform any less to the standard of infantry rifle that I was issued. To be honest, I have a PSA product that performs better than anything I was issued. And everything I own is a blemished product. I'm extremely happy with their performance their accuracy and their reliability. Indeed, a blemished product means typically it has slightly greater tolerance than is industry standard, which means if it gets really dirty, it will still run. Look, if you're hating on psa. It's simply because you don't understand what military grade actually means.

One of the most toxic things in the gun space the last decade or so is the prevalence of people parroting this "duty grade" or "fighting quality" garbage on the internet. That has never been an actual thing up until recently, they're made up terms by people who, yes, like you said, have no idea what rifles are actually being issued out there. It's another weak justification for spending way too much.

I've bought an Ak and an AR10 from PSA and both are phenomenal. Never had a problem with either. Actually about to drop money for a dagger to see how it runs. There's nothing better than an American manufacturer making firearms that are both quality and functional.

I’m giving you a thumbs up for reviewing it-no one else has thus far to my knowledge. I hope the parts hold up long term like a Bcm, LWRC, LMT, etc and this isn’t half ass quality long term (ie it can do 25k+ rds and be in the elements often without falling apart).

I like your videos dude. The “not nearly as high speed” tone/jokes/audiance of realists could be a good core competency of yours. Like this whole video - very few people are realistically gonna go buy a legit one of these and run thousands of rounds through it.

I got to use the M110a1 when I was active duty, when i got out a built a DI aero similar or as close as i could get to the M110a1 and the thing I always felt the M110a1 needed was a better optic, shooting to 800m with a 1-6x was terrible. I put a 1-10x eotech on mine and i love it. The M110 has a great optic on it, a optic that actually made sense.

Honestly ive come to realize anyone hating on PSA has never owned a gun from PSA... I have an AKV, AKP, Dagger, and a 7.5 AR Pistol from them and never been let down.. The next on the list is the JAKL and 556 Krink. PSA is doing big things, for the price you can't beat it.. Also their life time warranty on all guns speaks for itself... What company does that for the price?

PSA was a company run out of a garage until the pandemmy hit. Now it's a legit manufacturer with cutting edge technology. As long as you don't get a lemon, you'll be glad you shopped there.

I love PSA too. They were my very first AR choice for 400$. Which led me down a crazy rabbit hole, lol. I've got a few still, and I've only had one issue. One of the floating handguards just straight up started to work it's way up the barrel. A little loctite fixed that though.

Ive got the psa pa10 20" has the adjustable gas block and that 2 stage trigger very nice. My only complaint is whomever built the upper on this one goofed the forward assist and got it turned 180 deg when they drove the pin in. So when i went to sight it in the bolt slammed in to the end on the assist jamming it up in the reciever. Im a gunsmith extremely experienced in the ar platform so i didnt bother sending it back but i had to order another assist and thankfully it didn't damage the reciever. I also just had a customer gun who's bolt catch don't work on thier psa 15 so thats two quality problems this week from psa guns. Now i personally owned several psa Ar15's and have had good luck with them but i feel they got alot going on with all the new products and quality control is slipping some, tighten up guys....

I’m sure I’ve been handling firearms long before most of these tubers were born. Nothing makes you feel old like being clueless on so much of the jargon used in these videos. I remember my first AR 15 back in the early 70’s. Most people had never seen a civilian one, just like compound bows when everyone had recurves.

When I first tried their nickel boron enhanced 2 stage trigger I was more than impressed with its performance. It actually has a nicer break than my gen 1 Geissele SSA trigger and at $70-$80 sale price I will never buy another Geissele trigger.

I have a PSA10 Gen3, and it's a decent rifle. Much more pleasant to shoot, and more accurate than a .308 AK. Especially with that adjustable gas block. I topped it with a Primary Arms HUD 4-16x and it just works. I'm also getting around 1.5 MOA, so for less than $900 I'm tickled. Maybe I'll paint it some cool colors, idk. Haven't felt that fancy yet.
