Okay there you go your video just helped with my answer (some) for the design issue I just realized today. I got myself a nice rare, Pacific Coast Chopper, I love it and she needs a motor! The bottom rail is flat and very fat. Obviously where it's a chopper it has a fat rear tire. So because of that I realized the motor mounting situation is going to be different. I kind of started getting an idea of how I was going to mount the motor, might have to weld in a bar type thing to make the proper "V". But then I got thinking that tires awfully fat how is a chain going to clear it? I got the measuring the crank for the pedal side and it's clearly offset from the frame about two-and-a-half inches which gives it about an inch of clearance for the bicycle chain from the tire. So that's told me that darn it my motor is going to have to be offset a bit in order for the chain the run in a straight line to the sprocket and clear the tire. So I see you're here you got some custom motor mounts going on. did you build those or buy them? If you bought them, where did you acquire them? Right now I'm just laying out my game plan. And this is a situation that I'm really running into realizing that my motor is going to have to be offset in order to let the chain clear the tire and line up properly with the sprocket. I like how you got yours done that's what I need to do. How do I go about that? By the way I love your videos and I'm going to be subscribing right now. ❤

Hook a brother up with that offset you got there. I have a mongoose hitch and the frame is tiny in need of a offset mount

I think you need to remake the m9unting brackets to use at least 2 ubolts per bracket coust i see that alowing the motor to shift during start up pulling force

I had a problem installing on fat tire because chain rubs the tire. Your idea is good can you tell me where I can get those extended mounts

i am building a fat bike...i fucked up the mounts the first time round. i seen your idea. i am pulling motor off and re doing it tomorrow. i have an arc welder to play with as well. i cant post pics here. i am putting a custom exhaust on it as well. my chain alignment is to close to tire right now...try again this time right

I just finished watching your video so when you say you have Parts in stock do you have those motor mounts in stock? Cuz I believe that's exactly what I'm going to need. If you're not aware of what a Pacific Coast Chopper style frame is and you can't picture what I'm talkin about I can email you a picture or make a quick video, upload it and refer you to it. But yeah those motor mounts I think are going to be my way around this. Aside from having to weld in a bar for the front motor mount. I believe I will have to in order to make that V shape. I'm not sure tho. I mean its a two-stroke motor so they can pretty much run sitting however but it's awfully tilted trying to go on a flat base and not an angled V Style. Regardless I have already thought of those things and I do have a way around it but I really like to not affect the frame at all, its rare, but I probably will have to weld in a bar. Regardless those motor mounts you're using I think they're going to be my ticket. As it appears that allows you to offset the motor enough to clear the Fat Tire. would you say the short intake manifold is better for performance or is it the same.

I have the 7 speed with disk brakes - same motor. Will the sprocket work with disk brakes? If not trying to figure out a work around. You know anybody who has tried it, or a good place to find parts that I would need to build it out?
