Great music choice. mario land 2 doesn't get the love it deserves, so it's nice to have an adorable animation based on it.

There’s a couple frames when the cheese swipes across the scene where you can see how angry the mice are. I love that it exists because it didn’t need to be there and the human brain would have filled in the gap but it characterizes the mice so well!

The way their snoots expand and contract to the "teet toot teet toot teet toot" is like the embodiment of serotonin

I'm in love with this animation my gosh, I thought you made the music for the video fr, it sounds like mice and matches up perfectly!

Fun fact, mice are actually not all that keen on cheese compared to other food such as seeds and nuts. But they became notorious for eating it because it was relatively easy for them to access in the medieval larder. I have however seen videos of some pet rats enjoying cheese as a treat. Cats are more likely to show enthusiasm for cheese, though of course there are always some fussy eaters - the cat in this video may well claim it as his prize. My old cat Bob loved cheese, but unfortunately it made him fart, so it was given very sparingly. Cats generally don't digest dairy very well, however much they want to. It's also popular with dogs - even my neighbour's picky border collie, who turns up his nose at most meat-free offerings, was happy to accept a piece of cheese as a snack before I bought some proper dog treats to give him. :)

We need more of this stuff on 8bit. Amazing to hear stuff from a pretty unknown game as Mario Land 2 for GBA. I would love some more on Toby Fox stuff.
