I used to spend hours playing minecraft with my sister, but as we both got older she stopped playing but I still loved gaming. She recently moved to university and I joined one of our old worlds. I saw our old horses that we would race, our giant tunnel at bedrock, our graves for our old pets who passed. This song seems to be the only one who gives me real nostalgia. It reminds me of the fun I used to have and how things got progressively worse but then everything seems to finish with a happy ending. Crazy how life changes. Even with covid and losing two loved ones, the world carries on. But life is good. Just keep thinking of the future and what life has to come. This takes me back to when I was seven years old, I can remember the exact day, the exact time when my brother showed me and my sister Minecraft on our iPad... We were sitting in my dad’s car outside at the time. We would always just build stuff and try to survive. I have never knew that just this little sandbox game could make up a good part of my childhood. My brother is now in university and I’m happy that he introduced me to Minecraft, or I would not even be writing this and tearing up in joy to this soundtrack. Truly, my brother was a hero for showing me this game.

I use to play Minecraft a lot over the 9 last month, and at some point my dad just shows up and ask me random thing about the game. I was showing him what I was doing and he sits on my bed chilling with me. We were enjoying time. 2 weeks ago my dad passed away for no reason and I was needing this. Thanks. A lot. I remember now. It's all coming back. All the nights I spent on the recliner in my room, turtle beach headset on, exploring the tutorial world with my friends on Xbox 360. I remember the survival world we shared. I remember our underground base, and the one room it had with a floor made entirely of crafting tables. I remember our big projects to recreate the Five Nights At Freddy's locations. I remember the mansion we built in creative, with all the military vehicles we made around it. this is my favorite survival song, and it played the first time I got the Hero of the Village achievement. defeating a raid was the most fun thing I've ever done in minecraft, and I wish I could do it for the first time again. I remember the sense of accomplishment I felt and then hearing this song on top of it, I nearly sobbed. also, this song played when I went mining for diamonds in one of my worlds. I have a terrible sense of direction and got lost in the caves. I spent nearly 20 minutes looking for my way out when I finally found it and right as I neared the surface this song played. I went inside and showed my dog the diamonds I had gotten. I was gone for days. I can't play in that world anymore because the computer I played on is broken, and my dog is probably waiting for me, thinking I'm on another mining trip. I miss you, Churro

My older brother used to play Minecraft with me, on the PS3 we shared. But that was what feels like eons ago. Our world was in creative, back when the beds were red and it was confusing to look around. I don't think that banners were in the game either. I remember that my brother had a quartz house, and I was building a staircase into the sky with quartz stairs. I think I was going to build my house in the sky. I never got to. At the end of my staircase, netherrack on fire was stacked on top of each other, one on each side of a ladder. The ladder still doesn't lead to anything. Me and my brother both have PS4s now. My brother tries to pretend like I never actually played with him; that it was a figment of my imagination. It wasn't. We don't get along much now, with my brother not really liking or caring about me. But no matter what he does or says, there'll always be a version of him that cared about me, and maybe still does. There'll always be that kid who instead of calling his sibling dumb for not having the idea, actually show'd them how to do it. And there'll always be the memories.

i am listening to this during christmas this year 2020 and we all know how's this year been. but, hours before christmas eve, I've recived a message from my grandma that my great grandfather died hours before christmas. he wasn't able to make it. now while listening to this, i can see all the memories and flashbacks with him and when it hits the climax point in the song, my gosh my heart just breaks into half and i start crying.
