Nothing like toe to toe boxing, no running around.... just two men giving it their all. I remember being 12 and watching this fight with my dad. We were both going for the pride of Phoenix, Carbajal.

Carbajal took some beating to the body and some were low and still came out like a warrior. I remember watching this live as a kid. Became an instant fan of Carbajal.

Great fight by 2 hall of famers! The translator forgot what his job was at 31:40! He asks 4 questions in Spanish and forgets to translate Gonzalez’ 2 answers about what happened in the fight! 😂 Gonzalez said, “I thought this was going to be my great triumph but he caught me. I was winning but he caught me. I don’t know how it happened but he caught me.” When asked about the cut. No, the cut didn’t affect him, he was fine. The fight was his but he got caught.

Fighters get cut and I don’t think anybody is ever thought to put Cayenne pepper in the cut. It will help tremendously to stop the bleeding.
