@@michaelfranzese If you ask me I say being incarcerated just sucks in any way shape or form regardless of the level of security. It is time OFF of your life that you can not get back ... If it makes you feel any better you have NOTHING to be ashamed of for breaking an oath to a renowned secret criminal organization. For one thing by your own sworn words you didn't implicate anyone in anything and in more than one interview (15:31 oh I'm sorry this interview video as well ! 🤗) you clearly explained you wanted a far more meaningful life and existance ...

Mr Franzese's testimony about his wife and going back to prison while the war in his family was going on is deep and I can relate. I knew I was going to die by 21 but I ended up moving down south. It was like God had to move me from the north to the south to save my life. The birth of my son is when I walked away from all the nonsense.

I hear him speaking to people's intelligence. He doesn't disrespect his audience. ALSO, he allows people to consider the horrific aspects of a truly criminal lifestyle. Rather than romanticizing the life, which seduces people into the lifestyle, he allows people to see the devastation the lifestyle can/will/MUST bring so that listeners will stay away or work to get away and lead a happier, healthier, and fulfilling life both for themselves and for posterity.

I mean your decisions, wit, intellect and strategy was so very right even in a wrong business that today these qualities of yours made you a person to whom youth all over the world look up to. Obviously it happened right after your moral promises to yourself. All i have learnt from you is to be hardworking, confident, very much focused and calm down in odd circumstances which is the major quality that I need mastering. All I can say you thank you very much Michael...keep enlightening us. And yeah you are suchhhhhhh a handsome man, you look no less than an actor😄 Regards to you

Michael, I've watched most all of the mob movies you review, as well as many of the ones going back to the 30s. But your videos of simply relaying what you've seen, experienced and felt are more gripping than anything Wellman, Scorsese or Coppola ever put on the screen. Your recollections deliver an unforgettable lesson about the veneer of glamor over evil, beneath which is inevitable destruction of the self and everything around you. Seriously, it's like Macbeth. Thank you for your candor, and God bless you and that remarkable wife of yours. Hope all continues to go well with your daughter.

Thank you for your videos, Michael. I love how you just tell the straight stories, and don't glamourize your former life. I really relate to your relationship to your father. I left the religion I was born into some 30 years ago. Because of that separation, my father was required to shun me. My father never spoke to me again after I left that religion. Like you, I think he was wrong, but I respect him for never compromising his principles, as misguided as they were.

Listening to you has helped me so much with my chaotic relationship with my own father. My dad and I have opposite ideologies and the older I got the harder it’s been to live with him. I have a whole slew of my own problems, for sure, which I’m still paying for every day but it’s getting better. Aside from my own issues, everyone in my family over the years, all of whom have overcome their own problems, have tried getting through to our dad and help him stop destroying himself, his life, his marriage, and his family’s lives. I’m sad to say it has never worked, still to this day, I’ve watched my parents not only grow apart but even come to hate eachother. Especially my mother, but my mom is such a good person all the way through that I can’t help but understand and agree with her about a lot of things (about my dad). I’ve been lost for years as to what to do, what to say, how to behave around him and it’s gotten so ugly so many times, at this point our relationship with him is just destroyed. Not saying that’s the case with your father, to be clear, but I’ve struggled with coming to terms about some things. You’ve shown me that I can still tell my dad I love him but that I’m beyond disappointed in him. Unconditional love is self-explanatory, as hard as it can sometimes be. I don’t want to carry around this grudge in my heart against my dad, he doesn’t have much time left, I imagine. It is so important to me to be able to tell him that I still love him but that I’m also so disappointed in him as well. It doesn’t have to be one way or the other. You’ve helped me profoundly in learning how to deal with my anger towards him and how to find peace with it. I do love my father, dearly, and I also am deeply hurt by him. That doesn’t change the fact that I want the best for him, I want him to reconcile and make amends with the time he does have. Thank you, Mr. Franzese. You’ve gained a life-long fan (and subscriber) out of this Irishman. 🙏🙏🙏 but seriously, thank you. You don’t even know how much you’ve helped me just by sharing your own experience.
