Michael J. Fox is truly an inspiration to all of us. Despite his terrible illness he has continued to work towards a cure for Parkinson’s. He has not backed down from it and could have given up at any time. With the love and support of his beautiful wife and family he has created a legacy that will live on beyond all of us. When you watch this man, it makes you reconsider all of the small ridiculous things in your life that you complain about. If Michael can look still look towards the future with hope, grace and gratitude with EVERYTHING he has to live and cope with, so can those of us dealing with a lot less. Congratulations to him.

Just when this incredible, talented man could not be any more inspiring and courageous and heartfelt, he does this. He IS this. He has transcended his iconic place in film to become a trailblazer indeed of fight and hope and optimism. I have loved Michael J Fox since I was 12. I'm 52, now, and continue to be in awe. Having seen the effects of Parkinsons' on my mother I can only admire how much Mike has done for bringing this disease to the attention of the public and for the work done by scientists and doctors to identify and hopefully counter these effects. Sadly, this will not come in time for many but thank you for doing this, Mike! You've made a huge difference in this world.

Man I love MJF I loved all the movies he did but I really loved him in Family Ties it sucks to see him struggling like that 😢 he deserves better but he is alive and fighting every day I wish him the best and hopes he lives a happy life to be 100 years old!

I love Michael J. Fox. When he could have easily fallen out of sight, when he made the decision to become front and center with Parkinson's, he really became an inspiration to many with a variety of diseases. There is no one like him. With him being a talented, class act at a young age, it makes me think I want to watch Back to the Future again.

Well done, Mike. My family is dealing with a disease as well, one considered rare, and one not even 'discovered' until 1989, so not a lot being studied on it.

That folks right there is courage defined. Forget the great movies he made. His battle with Parkinson’s is his true legacy. He has taken the monster head on. Sadly, in our society today.,money is what talks the loudest. Mike has raised that money and much more. Awareness is in focus now too. Much love to mike and May God Bless him.
