THUD plays some classics and waits for the double agent from the Harvard Radcliffe Orchestra, i.e. the "mole," to mess up.

It's the same as any other instrument. Like yeah I also Ike to hear some guy beat a stick on some plastic. Percussion is basically just hitting something on something else to make a sound.

Kai Robinson yeah, but we don't usually think of Boomwhackers when we think of percussion. It's the little, slightly childish idea that smacking a hollow, colorful plastic object on some part of you makes a sound. It's fun and silly to think about. Music is fun and silly to think about in general. "I blow a raspberry in this end of the twisty metal tube and a COLOSSAL FOGHORN NOISE comes out the other end, and I can change the sound of the foghorn noise by pressing on little knobs on the twisty tube."

i play the guitar because it's a cool instrument that lets you experience nirvana when you pull off something amazing. i play drums because i like to put on a good beat. plus, it's satisfying to hit stuff.
