Presented here is a beautiful restoration of one of the important eras in musical history, breaking the records for the highest grossing and most attended set of shows at the time, and setting a grand blueprint for not only Jackson's future tours, but for artists old and new. This video features the original cut of the "Man in the Mirror" segment, with a fresh new colour restoration, and with the frame uncropped and retaining the original 4:3 aspect ratio, so now you can see more than ever before! And no, before any one comments, this is not from the obviously cropped 16:9 2010 Blu-Ray.

then may i ask how the hell you do these restorations as if you can create film like images from standard def videos, you should really try Bad or one of the short films originally recorded on film.

@@BeanoWild Well, making it "4K" is now pretty easy, given all the new AI technology that is easily accessible to our fingertips. What usually makes these go further is the manual work that goes afterwards, such as colour grading, artificial defocusing, potential special fx, film grain, etc, all to make it seem as authentic and filmic as possible, as simple AI upscaling can make videos seem a bit plasticy from experience, but it all depends on the video used! ~ R

@@MJJ4K if you could that would be amazing, as i feel that your work is being overshadowed by the fact most of these remasters were already in hd before, and i feel bringing something that was only in standard definition to a film like quality could really show your attention to detail and work to alot more people.

I agree with you, but its not possible because they don't have the master tapes. There are some master tapes but you can't use them because the audio is bad. Its really sad.

The crystal clear quality of this is simply stunning. Feels like I’m in the audience watching him, lol! The Estate should really be focusing on preserving his art like this instead of tossing us half-assed apparel to celebrate anniversary releases that deserve so much more.

Love the color grading on this version. Blu-Ray remaster had terrible colors, looks like they slapped a LUT onto it, too orange and cyan. Also love the aspect ratio on this one, great work!

Idk what you did but there is a lot less film grain compared to the other versions I’ve seen of the mitm performance and it looks great

Omg I'm seriously about to cry... Ok, so my mom bought me the moonwalker tape in 1989 and she still has it. The significance of that is I played that video SO MANY TIMES, for SO MANY YEARS, that til this day I know every sound and PITCH of THAT entire tape, front to back. I've seen so many uploads of this video and even DVDs where it didn't sound right and I still don't know why. None of it EVER sounds right. The pitch is just a little too high and the speed of audio sounds tweaked SLIGHTLY fast. THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I'VE EVER HEARD THIS VIDEO SOUND THE WAY IT PLAYS IN MY HEAD. Thank you😭

This was the one that did it for me. I really wasn't into all the stuff from Thriller, but Man in the Mirror hooked me instantly into a Michael fan. In fact, I really like his ballad or soul music much more than anything else.

According to the MJ website, the estate still had plans for audio/visual celebrations of HISTORY 25 but got held back due to COVID, hopefully they will release the Wembley show in this quality on Blu-Ray or something. Obviously in the OG aspect ratio.
