@@chrisrobertson1654 I definitely know Diana was his friend because he left guardianship of his kids to her in case something happened to his mother but Quincy and Jane I'm not sure about. I think Quincy might've just been there for the moment honestly.

@@pepstalynnThose are celebrity friends. I think they were referring to non famous sincere friends, notice how he asked "who are your REAL FRIENDS". You know, the true friends who only care about the "person" and not their status? Michael mentions this in his autobiography. Stating how, he desperately wanted to find friends who love him for HIM not the rockstar Michael Jackson. It was extremely hard for him, because he knew with his popularity and wealth...everyone wanted to be his friend and that was not something he wanted.

In many ways, he was a real "gangsta", because he was himself. He was his own man, when it's so easy to follow other people. I think that was his whole point with the Bad album, that to truly be "bad" in the urban sense means to be your own man and live life in your own way. That's why in the "Bad" video, he dressed up in the crazy outfit with the zippers and the buckles. He was being tough and hard in his own uniquely larger-than-life fashion. That's brilliant & a great thing he gave to R&B.

Despite his singing and dancing. What really attracts me the most about Michael Jackson is his humble personality. With his tremendous awards and wealth...not once did he become some egotistical, arrogant person with an uppity attitude. Michael never allowed the fame to get to his head like some of these so-called "entertainers". He always gave gave gave and never asked for NOTHING in return. Michael remained sincere, honest, sweet, lovable, unselfish, and caring the entirety of his life. Never was a "me" person. Always had a heart for those in need, especially children. Michael would visit them in hospitals/orphanages bring them gifts, make them smile (just by showing up), play with them, laugh with them, stand up for them. No wonder Michael could be his "true-self" around kids...they were the only ones who didn't treat him like shit and saw his as a person. Such a beautiful kind-hearted man. 🖤

If I had the chance to go back in time and visit MJ at any age, I would probably visit him during his early teen years. There's not much one person can do, but I would love to believe that if I told him he was beautiful, he wouldn't have felt so awful about himself and he would have felt inclined to "fix" things that aren't broken. Heal his soul... That's what I would have done.

Michael was such an inspired visionary. Michael donated a theater on Jane Fonda's Santa Barbara ranch so that the children in our summer school program would have a space to perform the awesome plays that they wrote. I had many spiritual experiences sitting in the audience watching the amazing stories the children shared. Michael was a miracle worker. Thanks for posting this lovely interview.

Deepak says right up until his death, he was quiet and sat in a corner by himself when he came over for dinner. I think he felt like a freak or like he didn't belong. I know how it feels to feel different than everyone else, and to not be able to relate to anyone. It sucks. And people stared at him, expected things form him. Must have been hard.
