Michael Jackson's short film for "Cry" was one of two short films produced for recordings from Invincible, Michael's sixth album as an adult solo performer. As a single, "Cry" reached the Top 40 in six countries, including the United Kingdom, Spain, France and The Netherlands.
The simple, impactful "Cry" short film features people of different ages and ethnic backgrounds holding hands across natural landmarks in California and Nevada, in keeping with the song's message of unity and harmony. As with the short film to "Heal the World," Michael does not appear in "Cry."

Yes Michael's melodies are so beautiful let alone his voice and messages. MJ should be on the radio so much more. All of the attention went to wrong rumours. I feel like the world needs catch up and play all of his musical treasures including the ones still hidden. Michael Jackson had and has the power to influence the world and to move and change hearts. Like mine.

This whole album was extremely underrated. I remember when Invincible came out critics panned it, saying Michael was past his prime. I think some of his best work came off this record.

@@redcomic619 Yes, Invincible was very underrated. But, I think, the real problem was that it did not have this typical MJ-style. Yes, it shouldn't have it, it was meant to be as it was, but, despite of that, I think, MJ's style was missing.

I dunno, we'll have to look into that more in depth. But with the #Me Too movement going on right now. I wouldn't be surprised if they were setting him up. Though, again we have to consider the facts. And not just go by word of mouth. Many activists encourage those who've been sexually abused, however long ago it may have been since their attack- to speak out against their agressors.
