@@Jayden-sh2jt excuse me but go and check the original one that was made in 1979 in studio you will see what i meant cause this one was done like that to mach with is voice at this time. This is a lil bit lower pitched than the original one

jeanalain delbegue yes, correct. It was the original vocal track pitched down. To my recollection only scream (for obvious reasons) blood on the dance floor and will you be there were from different takes than the album. Even his audio engineer, Michael prince, who obviously had to do with the playback side of the shows, said Michael said in this is it when he tried re recording vocals for the first time for the playback, Michael after 2 or so songs said “let’s just sing and when we need to use the playback we’ll just use the album, like normal”. Notice the “like normal” part. Whether Michael said that part or not, Michael prince would know where the vocal tracks were from

I've studied Mike's moves ever since the 80s after I went to the Bad Tour and I was born in 1981 and I will say that I'm pretty dam good. I honestly don't know think there are alot of people that could compete with me on Mike's dancing.

If I'm not mistaken this was 1996 which would make MJ around 38 yrs. old here. Still dancing like that. He didn't take the stage unless he could deliver a performance that left your jaw on the floor.

Ok Everybody! yes he was lip synching he had a bad pneumonia and/or laryngitis while touring, so he just sung some songs live #brave #king + I think after >30 years (at this time) of performing on stage, meaning singing and dancing like no entertainer before, you don't have to prove your greatness and talent any longer! _And sorry for the video quality - could have been better_ (was my first video)

It's just age related. In the 70s and 80s he almost always sang live. In the 90s he mostly lip synced. I think by then he just didn't have the cardiovascular fitness to do all that dancing and still sing well, he'd get out of breath. But if you watch his live shows in the 80s where he's really singing, you can tell he was one of the best live singers of all time

Michael L Yeah, he only ever really lip-synced when he wanted to do more of a dance routine than a singing routine (eg Smooth Criminal, The Way You Make Me Feel etc), or when he was sick in the History Tour, like these concerts.

Who gives a fuck if he's lip syncing or not? I think half you people are forgetting that Michael Jackson was a ENTERTAINER not just a singer. Now if he just stood there and sang and didn't move a muscle like you want him to , you'd be complaining on how boring and dull the performance is without dance moves. The history tour was the only tour where he mostly lip synced which is fine because it was his last tour and he had nothing to prove.

You'd think with all the video footage of M.J. floating around, they'd make a proper hologram of him, and put him on tour around the world with the This Is It crew. Maybe start with a free concert in death valley like in Queen of the Damned. The Lestat concert. Japan perfected the hologram concert technology already. Somebody with a ton of cash please invest in this idea. Great video. 😉👍
