Michael was friends with Donald Trump and during this period he lived in Trump Tower in New York, and he also honeymooned at Trump's beach house with his then wife Lisa Marie. Whether you accept it or not, he and Trump were cool with each other, so much so Trump was one of the only celebrities who stuck up for Michael throughout his life until death. He didn't jump on the bandwagon, he was there on TV in 2005 when all the celebrities fucked off leaving Michael to die.

I have to say it again, HIStory will always be a personal favorite for me. He came through with true emotion, he breathed life into his work. It was all raw and real, unlike the events happening to him. The style of the album was and still is very groovy, yet getting his message across at the same time. Quite impressed with him, especially with many of the backstories behind his tracks on HIStory. Just Listen.

Coming from personal experience, This song has become more relevant to me than ever. People will do whatever for money and notoriety. I dealt with both from a co-worker who put others down just so he could be the next Walt Disney. Which to me is insane... Also, the thing I'll never understand is why do we not realize that with the limited time we have on this Earth. We act like Money is gonna be something we're gonna have forever? Like dude, when we die that stuff doesn't come with us. So why the push for greed?
