Jordan have three 42 inch dunks in 88 dunk contest. Jordans last free throw line dunk, his forehead is above the rim. Jordan reverse elbow dunk was a legit 42 inches. He did that while jumpin sideways, contorting his body in Midair which is not an ideal way to get the max vert.

@@johnlestersunaya-rpl1958 I agree with you John. MJ's jumping style was more ballet styled s opposed to straight vertical jumping. Check out footage of Lynn Swann (Steelers). Their jumping/leaping styles were similar, BTW, Lynn took ballet classes while playing NFL ball. .
