Always make it to the end on all your videos... as for the Stepped Hulls, I do like them and I am a fan. They do introduce air and break up surface tension of the water/hull interface, making the boat "glide" easier on the water with lower friction and higher speed :-) Great work on the video and MJ Sport fish, that's one awesome vessel and yes, I love the paint job!
@RoughInlets3 жыл бұрын
I like them on race boats and smooth seaa, but offshore boats in rough conditions I am still unsure.

@RoughInlets3 жыл бұрын
Can't decide if I like them or Bayliss more
@bishop95983 жыл бұрын
Some think that the 'Carolina Flare' is just for design/styling cues. However, I have witnessed many times just how purposeful the flare is in big seas. It really deflects the water in heavy seas (esp at speed - as in tournaments - often becomes important) away from the boat huge distances. The deep-V bow allows the boat to cut through the wave and the flare really does its job. I've been in and out of both the Jupiter and Palm Beach (Lake Worth) inlets literally thousands of times. Although there aren't as many in Fla, the Buddy Davis and Jarrett Bay sportfishermans are also really cool Carolina Flare yachts.
