For those of you who didn’t get to see Michael Jordan play. His game was one of a kind. Once in a lifetime. He could score better than KD. He could defend like Kawhi. He could dunk like Greek Freak He had a motor like Russ. All in one body. He was the best offensive player and defensive player in the league in the same player. Add in he was the most athletic player in the league and had the best work ethic to match. Long Live the GOAT 🐐

This 95-96 Bulls team is also the greatest team in NBA history. They won 72-10 in the regular season. Then swept in the 1st round Miami Heat with Alonzo Mourning & Tim Hardaway. 2nd round they beat NY Knicks with Ewing, Starks, Oakley, Mason in 5 games. ECF’s they swept Orlando Magic with Shaq O’Neal & Penny Hardaway. In the finals the Bulls beat a 64 win Seattle Sonics team with 4 former All Stars in Gary Payton, Shawn Kemp, Detlef Schremph, & Herzey Hawkins. They used a 9 man rotation of Ron Harper 6’6 Michael Jordan 6’6 Scottie Pippen 6’8 Dennis Rodman 6’8 Luc Longley 7’2 6’3 Steve Kerr, 6’10 Toni Kukoc, 6’11 John Salley, 7ft Bill Wennington as their bench. Warriors don’t have anybody that can guard Jordan. Warriors don’t have anyone that can outrebound Rodman. Pippen is arguably the most athletic guy on the floor and best defender with a 7’3 wingspan.

@bolder2009
@bolder2009 4 жыл бұрын
He was called the GOAT by some broadcasters before the Bulls completed their first Three-peat. And even back in the 80s, coach Bobby Knight said he would go down as the greatest player of alltime. If you watched Jordan in realtime it made sense. He did things that haven't been seen before and after him (Kobe didn't have his creativity). Lets keep in mind that not all the games he played are available. There's highlights that were only seen by players, fans and broadcasters at games. For example there is no known footage of Jordan's 360 hangtime dunk over David Robinson that Magic Johnson said is the greatest move he has ever seen in basketball. And Magic said it best, when he said that people should get VHS tapes and record Jordan while they could, cause they would never see some of the things Jordan did in games again. How right he was. There's some moves I've never seen replicated again by any player. The creativity and degree of difficulty of many of Jordan's moves is beyond compare. Jordan was the Michelangelo of basketball. The scale of his creativity was astonishing, and then you add everything else that he had in his game....

I really almost had no choice but to be a fan of Jordan and these Bulls. This 1995-1996 campaign was the year I really discovered basketball and the NBA. I was only 8 years old during this season which was the first time I paid attention to basketball. Jordan just looked different. Nobody in the NBA looked like Jordan on the court. Stylistically, the way Jordan walked, the fade-away his mannerisms I mean any adjective you wanna throw out there Jordan was just different. I'm not a sneaker head at all but even I especially at that time needed whatever MJ was wearing during that season. The concorde 11 as they are known now was the sneaker of that season that everyone needed even if you were not a huge Bulls fan. I was at the right age at the right time when MJ captured all of my hoop dream imaginations. The Bulls should really have swept the Sonics that year. The Bulls were up 3-0 before Seattle won the next 2 at home. I kinda felt that MJ and the Bulls took their foot off the gas a bit to win the ring at home in Chicago especially since this was the first title since MJ returned from playing baseball.

double team, triple team doesnt matter, he just go to the offense and break the opponent's morale, no one could stop him from winning, thats why he's the greatest

Jordan had one of the most beautiful shots I've ever seen. Golden state failed to beat the bull record. Yes the got the wins but it doesn't mean a thing without the ring 💍.

That move at 5:38 was so legendary...... a double ball fake litrally froze two defenders in place and had them confused and gave jordan that easy jumper.... man jordan was God like.....

But yet Kareem is number 1 on the all time scoring list and got the same amount of rings and one more MVP then Jordan 🤷🏾‍♂️ while using that same ol sky hook shot

@cobrachannel100 4 жыл бұрын
@@terrezharris5262 Kareem is the only other name that could be used in that GOAT debate. Even though IMHO, MJ is the GOAT. But Kareem is legit to be mentioned in the convo. Unlike Bron... He has no business being in that convo. BTW, the reason I believe Kareem does not get his due, is he played with Magic. Who is considered easily a top 5 player of all time too.

Kareem played for 20 seasons, Mj only played 14 seasons and retired twice in his prime. The first time because someone murdered his dad and the second time because the game was too easy after going 6-0 in the championship game.

Unfadeable19 not accurate at all 😂. He wanted to play baseball since he was in high school. Sure, he did it for his dad but he’s been wanted to. Second, he knew the bulls weren’t going nowhere after the ‘98 season so he basically respectfully ended their dynasty
@michaelleviflores6936
@michaelleviflores6936 4 жыл бұрын
Mj retired on 1998 because he doesn't see himself playing for a coach other than Phil Jackson. If Jerry Krause didn't pulled off one of the biggest blasphemy in sports history (firing of Phil Jackson and dismantling of the Bulls roster), Jordan could have played more seasons until somebody beats them.
