Michael Jordan has so many great seasons. But this one was his revenge season, after losing to the Magics in the semi finals in 95. He came back stronger than ever. NBA MVP, scoring title, all-star, all-star game MVP, All-NBA first team, first team defense, NBA champ, FMVP. That's truly insane lol, no player has yet to accomplish all of that in one single season and he did it again during the 97-98 season age 35.

96 MJ is possibly the very best version of anybody who ever played in the Nba.

Jordan's greatest physical asset which doesn't get talked about enough was his huge hands. Sure, lots of players calm palm a ball but nobody was as flippant with it as him. He had the perfect grip and palm and finger placement which allowed him to have more control of the ball than any player not named Doctor J. If you look at Kobe's footwork, Wade's slashing ability, or Bron's athleticism, they could version do every MJ could do on the ground but once MJ got in the air his hands allowed him to use the ball similar to a paintbrush and he just used the air as a canvas to create artistry that Doctor J or no other player could match. On the defensive end, his hands were so strong that if you had the ball anywhere near him he was going to block it, strip it, or steal it. This get's me to his second-best asset his defensive IQ. His timing on that end was impeccable. It was as if the ball was inflated with blood and MJ was a great white shark. Long before Kawhi, he was the Klaw! What's crazy is that his hands are actually bigger than Kawhi's!

The thing about MJ is you have understand the time we were in and the beauty he brought to the game. It's not just that he was good at basketball. It was more than that. You knew you were watching something different, something special. If he's not your GOAT, fine. But you can't deny he was something special. We hadn't seen it before and we haven't seen it since. We never made a big deal out of the starting lineups. But damn if I wasn't glued to the TV just for that. He had a thing that moved you and made you want to watch. If he never won a championship, he'd have that. But he combined that presence with success, and it was the greatest NBA ride we've ever been on. I realize this is super cliche to say .. but you really had to be there.

I was born July 28th 1988 a Piston fan in Detroit. I watched WGN in Detroit from my lil TV in my room I'd move my TV antenna in a direction and watched Mj play. Even tho I did not care for him like the world did I cant knock pure greatness and excellence. Much respect to the goat.

The dribble pull-up is the best weapon for a quick athletic player. Defenders are so worried about getting blown by that they tend to give up so much space and retreat too much off a jab step or one hard attacking dribble that you end up with so much space. In most of MJs highlights especially when he was younger, the majority of his pull up J's weren't even contested.
