He was the best "Pa" ever....not to mention, sexy as hell, good looking, built like a brick sh*those, sweet and so funny. He's the whole package. I love Mike's laugh, too. He's so cute, saying he's shy. I love that!!! I know so many "Fun Facts" about Mike Landon, all this useless trivia about him that I know.... it's crazy! All these stories Mike told Johnny during this interview, I knew all of them except the sex of the baby story. RIP Michael Landon! 🙏🙏😇😇 I can't believe he's been gone since 1991! ☹️😓😪 Mike is so funny! 👍👏😆🤣😂

Separating the actor image on tv from the man. Landon was married 4 times was addicted to pills in the late 50s and was a very heavy drinker throughout the 70s, it's a well known fact he was drunk on set most of the time during filming of little house and so were many of the other's. He's trying to portray the little house character here and the characters morals. The power of tv, and keeping up appearances

True and he was scared the media would find out about him being drunk on the set of little house almost constantly and his pill popping days in bonanza, he didn't want his hollier than though tv image ruined when they found out he was the opposite of the characters he portrayed on tv. He died his hair, had his nose fixed, teeth fixed, ears pinned back and carved himself out a career playing loveable honest characters on tv, and people still think he was those character's. I like his shows and he comes off as interesting in interviews.. But he certainly ain't no saint, just a typical actor watching his own back
@JamieAug3 жыл бұрын
@@adrinathegreat3095 I just watch his shows and enjoy the storylines; I don't care about much else. Everyone has flaws. He had to hide his flaws bc folks love to judge others that are in the spotlight. I certainly don't care about his aesthetic choices (dyeing his hair, nose & teeth fixed, ears pinned, etc). So what?

If you knew anything at all about the man you would realize how wrong you were. His crew and castmates loved him BECAUSE he was one of them. He ate , drank, joked and worked side by side with them. Unlike most other STARS. And he was the writer, director, producer and star of his series! Quite the opposite - he was a very humble man, aware of and grateful for his many gifts and talents. Ask anyone who actually knew the man. 😊
