"They might kill me but they'll never apprehend" is such a cool line to me because it implies that even if Michael Myers dies, The Shape will always live. It was never about Michael as an individual, it was about the evil he infects everyone around him with. The Shape

Michael might die, but the shape does not. The Boogeyman does not. Michael is like Batman, a symbol that even once passed, sticks with the world forever. Something that Jason and Freddy will never achieve. Michael is Horror. Michael is the one you fear. "You can't close your eyes and pretend he isn't there, because he is". This timeline ends. Michael does not. Michael is a forever going chain of pure evil. No rhyme nor reason. Not like Jason or Freddy, who fight for revenge. Michael IS evil, and always will be. Our great grandkids will know him as the Boogeyman, just as we do. Laurie didn't win in Ends. She lost. She failed a long time ago. She failed to put evil down. You know why? Evil doesn't end. It doesn't give up. Michael's story isn't over. Laurie's story is the one that's over.

Can't say I'm the biggest fan of Michael's last movie, or that I've even seen his newest one, but this song is pretty great. I especially like the line "Then I'll stare and watch my art pieces as they attempt to crawl", that joyful edge it carried sets an awesome tone. One of your coolest recent works, I'd say.
