People can talk all they want about him signing for United but i swear it was a great moment for me and seeing him win us the game vs city the joy was equal to winning a ucl i swear this man gave me massive joy! Michael Owen was my hero in the 90s , growing up as a liverpool fan . Prime Owen ( 1997-2004 ) was one of the best players in the world , sad many injuries stopped his great career and he lost his great space and fitness and was never the same after 2004 . I can still remember many English fans later celebrate Rooney as their hero and Owen was a forgotten hero . He is a nice person unlike many british people .

Actually it was Rafa Benitez back then in 2009. But i loved seeing him play for United. Owen was fcking manace when he first broke into Liverpool first team. Quick, Fast, good first touch and could score every kind of goals. even a header with that small statue. A genuine wonder kid.
