If you are properly prepared and have the necessary knowledge, every crisis/crash/inflation or recession offers equal market opportunities. The recent Bitcoin's value marks a significant moment in the cryptocurrency market, indicating not just a temporary spike but the onset of a potentially larger trend. This positive trajectory reflects growing investor confidence and suggests a broader shift toward global cryptocurrency acceptance. The movement presents a prime opportunity for investors, especially day traders, to capitalize on Bitcoin's bullish momentum, highlighting the importance of strategic investment during such pivotal market trends.

Facinating interview Lex. Great questions to get the juices flowing for both guest and audience. They allow us to peer into the great minds of our generation and with Social media it will be kept in a digital library for many others to study and be inspired. Something common to all these great minds is that they are all well read. Books, written and audio, as well as conversations such as these expand our minds and intelligence. Practice then reinforces our understanding of what you learned.

The idea of having the very best educators teaching all the students makes sense and is very doable in this age. I had some awful instructors in college. That's because it's not entirely honest. Say, how does the value of a fixed-base coin continually increase? Is that relative to inflation? This implies exchange with inflationary currency. However, if Bitcoin were to predominate wouldn't it then be subject to the immense inflationary/deflationary spikes of the 1800s dollar? If yes, would that not make it an inferior monetary vehicle? If no, how would its value continue to increase? By way of an increase in the human population? Then how does that population not become owned by unfair price manipulators since Bitcoin's design makes it hard to seize? Would a solution be address/coin banning? If so, does that mean financial crimes will increase Bitcoin's value? These hard questions are not addressed. This piece is closer to propaganda with its "HODL forever" mentality...

@@Mavendow You speak like a maximalist, and the world (almost) NEVER works like that - in a maximalist way. Bitcoin(-equivalents) will take a lot/ majority of the market share, or will force governments to have competition, making government monetary systems less exploitative over time (same as free market principles have positive effects on any free marketplace of anything valuable). Doesn’t mean crypto will (necessarily) take over ALL of the monetary classes. There is co-evolution of “currencies” going on here that nobody can be 100% SURE about how it will play out in the long-term; but old system, as a rule, ossify & get taken over/ out-competed by new, young, innovative & risk-embracing systems (as is with people, so is with companies ^^). Same here. I would say that, coming out of school, I kind of had a sense of how little I knew about economics though. Through elective classes as well as through learning more about economics in my free time out of interest, and seeing the breadth and depth of topics that my degree barely touched on. For my undergrad economics degree at least, i would say it was centered on the foundational trends in micro/macroeconomics. But Michael is completely right that economics is so incredibly complex, and that we as a society don’t address its problems as if that were the case. Our global economy is an emergent system that no one person can completely comprehend, unfortunately. And I think he’s also right that we are going to be facing some economic hardships in the near future resulting from how we’ve chosen to manage that system.

**Michael Saylor’s 10 Observations** 1. **Focus your energy:** Your energy is limited, and trying to accomplish too many things can leave you feeling overwhelmed and unproductive. Instead, focus on doing one thing well. 2. **Guard your time:** Protect your time from people and activities that don't contribute to your goals. Being mindful of how you spend your time can help you stay on track. 3. **Train your mind:** Practice and develop your skills in areas that matter to you, such as music, math, or engineering. 4. **Train your body:** Take care of your physical health because it's essential for overall well-being. If your body breaks down, it will affect other aspects of your life as well. 5. **Think for yourself:** Don't let others dictate what you believe or how you live your life. Be critical of the narratives and messages that you encounter and make your own decisions. 6. **Curate your friends:** Choose the people you surround yourself with carefully. You don't need many friends, but the ones you have should be positive influences in your life. 7. **Curate your environment:** Create a safe and productive space for yourself, whether it's your home or your workplace. Make sure that your surroundings support your goals and well-being. 8. **Keep your promises:** When you make a promise, keep it. This will help you build trust and credibility with others. 9. **Stay cheerful and constructive:** Negativity can drain your energy and distract you from your goals. Stay positive and focus on constructive ways to address challenges and setbacks. 10. **Upgrade the world:** Use your skills and talents to make the world a better place. Whether it's through your work, your hobbies, or your interactions with others, strive to leave a positive impact on the world around you.

You cannot cut your way out of recession you've got to invest your way out of recession, the Conservative party are in the dark ages on policy they've got to think again. My primary concern is how to maximize my savings/retirement fund of about £170k which has been sitting duck since forever with zero to no gains.

A strategy to protect against inflation is through the U.S stock market, especially the S&P500 & various ETFs. Investors must know where to put their money and how to distribute it in order to protect it against inflation while still making a profit, especially during a recession.

@@McElvinn The truth is that people are finally waking up to the fact that our systems are breaking down in thousands of different ways all around us. Personally, the financial market seems like the only way to go with my long-term horizon (accumulated about £557,000 in earnings since May 2021), but if you don't have that time luck, it's a tough market out there down almost nowhere feels safe!

@@AUstinnesc Yes, a Fidelity financial advisor named "NICOLE DESIREE SIMON" put an end to my fears about investing, and after making more investments, I was able to reach the high six-figure mark in less than 3 years. A licensing advisor satisfies the necessary security criteria; hence, reimbursement is guaranteed if I'm dissatisfied with the service, so I'm much better off hiring one.

How exactly is it going to 'do good' for our economy when Bitcoin and crypto hyper inflates the American dollar until we eventually lose its status as the world reserve currency which is the only thing that keeps America on top of the world economy which includes the standard of living for every American? How exactly will it improve things by getting everyone on a digital currency which includes high volitility, has zero privacy, and is highly centralized seems how 90-plus percent of Bitcoin is owned by a handful of wallets. Not to mention if you really look into its origins it's likely controlled by the NSA. One thing I've discovered over a decade of keeping tabs on Bitcoin is you can't argue logic with someone who's hopes and dreams are financially invested in a thing

Investors have a lot to think about and losses to make up after a dreadful year in 2022. The Federal Reserve is expected to continue raising interest rates even if the economy slows down, which implies that portfolio returns will be negative in the first quarter of 2023 despite an inflation report and a wealth of other data. In this shaky economy, how can I generate money? Yet debatable is my $250k bond and equity portfolio.

Exactly, the stock market is a crucial step to becoming financially free, but it will only give you good returns if you understand how the markets work. If you don't, then you'd be doing yourself a lot of good by hiring an investment professional to lead you.

That's right, I started investing sometime in 2020 and by late 2021, I pulled a profit of over $750k with no prior investment knowledge or skill. I was basically following the guidelines set by my Investmënt-Adviser, so you don't necessarily need to be a perfect investor or do the hard works. Just have a financial market pundit who guides & mentor you.

And he is the smartest smarty pants that pants ever smarted. He enlightened me on thoughts about AI, quantum physics, but mostly the power of love. Mr. Smart has taught me that if we could all just love each other, the universe would blossom like a flower, like a beautiful rose. Agree, never ending. Even when a family moves into a new place, the neighbors next door will act as they have claim over the other’s property. This idea that they were there first and anyone else moving in who is new, must pay homage to them. It’s such a provincial way of thinking. Imagine a neighbor who is in perpetual debt, filed bankruptcy for mismanaging their funds, and then acting as if they own their neighbor’s property? When the neighbor actually has zero debt and owns their property. The audacity of some people, but this is the way it is. Some people feel they can take claim over what you own outright, even if they themselves own nothing.
