I can't see bitcoin surviving quantum computing. I'd love it too. In order for that, I imagine they'd have to issue new coins with an updated block chain or something similar. The problem I see with that is, who's going to do it? Seems like something that would suit a government coin, not a decentralised coin. Everytime I've seen the quantum question asked to bitcoiner, they don't seem to have an answer.

Quantum computing evolving will go hand in hand software and bitcoin evolving. There are already better cypher algorithms that are quantum proof. It is not a big deal to implement it and decentralized community decide by updating sw on miners and nodes. Also, I think the loans are long-dated loans with very low rates, so not a great decision but not a terrible one either. I'm a swing trader so I don't typically buy and hold. In fact, I took a large position when BTC was trading around $10k during the start of the government lockdowns and was out near the double top at around $55k. However, I just started dollar cost averaging and will continue into the next halving which is sometime in May 2024.
