Michael Sheen gives rousing speech to Welsh national team: 'That's the blood of Wales'

The actor was asked by manager Rob Page to speak to the team after he received great acclaim for a performance of a similar speech on 'A League of Their Own'. The room was full of applause and cheers as Sheen finished the monologue and he was then presented with a bottle of whisky and a signed Wales shirt by captain Gareth Bale.

Large room, a small number of people, mostly spread out, no music... they made it more or less as hard as they could to generate any atmosphere and he still pulled it off. Took every ounce of energy he had though, I think. Still, huge respect.

The Indo Europeans of which the Celts were a late arrival committed genocide against the natives who built the neolithic and bronze age monuments. The English, were not so kern on genocide so just shifted the celts to the more dreary and rainy north and western parts of britain
