At the end of each talk, he says “Jai Gurudev”…I, too, studied under Amrit Desai, also known as Gurudev. His experiences, wisdom, and yoga teachings are rooted in the search for inner peace by staying in the present moment and not choosing for, or against, that which is. His yoga practice is designed for one purpose: to still the fluctuations of the mind by keeping ego out and acceptance of one’s true self in the forefront of all of life’s experiences. Result: No struggle. No self-judgement, fear, or doubt. Michael has expanded these profound truths to include the human desire to live an untethered life…one and the same. May each viewer be untethered and at peace, no matter life’s circumstances, while continually striving to rise above the duality of hope and despair. I once gave Gurudev an icon of Jesus Christ as tears rolled down his face. Jesus was the greatest & most perfect Yogi who ever walked this dirt, in the middle of nowhere. May God bless you, Michael and Gurudev, as you walk and teach the path to inner peace. ❤❤

Love you Mr. Singer, but if you want to know why some of us are very uncomfortable, at least for me it's because I'm disabled and the SSDI income is completely insufficient to even meet my basic needs. Now, because they just keep increasing my rent, I'm possibly facing homelessness. Poverty in this country is a slow (but getting faster) death sentence. But your wisdom does help, so thank you.

Fingers crossed that your situation improves. I usually say that the true value of spirituality kicks in when an individual understands that the situation and the suffering are not naturally linked, but linked only through our minds. If we find ourselves in a challenging time, we need to do what is wise. Sometimes that is to get some bred. Or a job. Or to practice meditation. No one else can know. Only you. But know that no matter hoe challenging the situation, you can cultivate an empowering open approach to it. Don't let the mind reduce you for too long by its deminishing victim mentality, which is just an illusory escape route from immediat experience. Also allow others to help you and dare to ask for help. Good luck!

At first when I learned this concept I tried surrendering to absolutely everything and it created a lot of growth but I don’t think it is the true meaning of the message. For example, one day you notice mould in your house, you don’t sit there and say wow this mould is meant to be I will surrender to it and let it take over the home. It is ok to do something about the mould but it is how you do it e.g staying open and not closing because you have to now remove the mould.

There are web browsers that prevent any ads from loading. E g., "Brave" and "Ad Blocker" for Android cell phones --- and for PC / laptop, Chrome has extensions that completely block ads. I know how annoying ads can be, so I wish you good luck and finding a way to block them. Best to you!

You are allowed to generate income in addition to SSDI. I’m hoping that’s possible for you. If not, I hope you find people to live with instead of resorting to homelessness. Social workers are trained to guide people to affordable housing. Hope this is helpful.☮️❤️

I love your wisdom dear Michael...but...are you homeless? Are you a child prostitute who has been sold into slavery by your parents so they can get money to get food....? How do you be ok when a loved one gets cancer and you watch them suffering and dying? Please please please answer these questions...some humans are extremely cruel and brutal...are you really ok with that? Do we just sit by and watch everything on our beautiful Planet being raped and destroyed and made extinct? I feel your wisdom falls very short when you consider these atrocities which are really happening on this speck of dirt...I really need you to answer this...💚🌻💚

All self awareness can do is ask you to look within, if everybody was more self aware the world would be a much kinder place. The result of a lack of awareness bares itself out in the world we live in today. Micheal is doing more to help people than we can imagine, but he can't fix all the world's problems, nobody can.

Even if homeless, would his teaching not make the experience more bareable? To not associate any suffering with the current situation. There are some folks who choose to live the way they do. They find freedom in not being tied down to the typical confines of society (work,bills,debt). Its all about perspective. Even cancer can be a very transformative and learning experience. Its the body unable to hold anymore traumas or pain. It is an opportunity for immense growth if seen with a different lense. There are stories of people who thank their cancer because it allowed them to see and appreciate life fully even if for a shorter time. That is more than many get in a "full" lifetime. It is all perspective! Not an easy shift and one I am still working on but I hope that answers your question and assists you in your journey. 💖
