It is an "in-depth" tour. I try to go into detail with things you don't normally get from other 10 minute segments. Some people like these tours, some prefer the shorter summarized tours. You prefer the summarized tours, but thank you for giving this one a chance anyway.

Trust me the ride is not as bad as you make it. Try riding in an expedition or denali; they are pretty stiff. All are based on truck platforms. As for the gas mileage, according to KBB, The sequoia and expedition xlt and el get 20 mpg hwy, the yukon get's 21 while the armada gets 19. In my opinion, some of us can live with this difference because we get all we asked for. That VK56DE engine is brutal... That 10mpg sounds like an exaggerated guess...

You said that the Nissan is the basis for the Infiniti QX56. It has not been based on this vehicle since the beginning of the 2011 model year. That is when they started basing it on the Nissan Patrol. It is completely different vehicle. Nissan doesn't offer the Patrol here in the states to make sure there is some difference between the big SUV offerings from Nissan and Infiniti.

One day these full body on frame SUVs will go out of style with gas prices hitting almost $7 a gallon in some places. Maybe pickups will last longer since some people have to drive trucks. Hope car makers will start making these big SUVs get 19+ mpg ASAP.
