Hi Melissa. You and your dad got some really great stuff in your boxes. I saw one lady that I follow, and when she opened her box ( she had one box and a bag ) the entire box was paint brushes. They were all sizes, but ALL brushes, she was not upset though as she is a crafter, and she has 3 young boys, so a good amount of them will go to the boys school, plus her mother is in a home and they often need paint brushes for their crafting, so they will all end up going to good use. She said the box was so heavy she could barely lift it, there must have been hundreds of brushes in there, some were packs with several in and I think there were a few bigger ones, but I have never seen so many brushes in one place. Anyway I hope you and the family are all doing well, you and your dad certainly look well. I just wanted to say I am so happy I found your channel! I love these videos with you dad. He reminds me so much of my dad who was from New England too. He passed away a few years ago and your dad’s amazing personality and that wonderful New England accent is bringing back a flood of memories of me hanging out with him like this. I ran out and got 3 boxes also this morning! lol... There was a lady that had picked up 12 of them. Two of mine are fairly heavy and one is quite light. I am waiting for my daughter to come over to open them.

I went and picked up 2 boxes so I had something to do while waiting on the handyman. there was a $50 garland in one of the boxes a billion bows and pinecones and foam crafts. It was fun to go through while waiting. I gave the garland to my neighbor because she decorates. I... do not lol. In fact...we totally decorated her apt so that her 16 yr old daughter would think her mom went a lil wackadoo

The supply issues before the holidays have definitely had an impact. So many stores just have everything on clearance. Glad you got so much good stuff!

The little stockings are great for people who do miniatures and doll houses...The ornament hooks can be used to make little flowers for doll houses and miniatures...

I call a tie! Your entire group of family and friends will never need ornament hangers! If they have the flea market in October and November you will make out great if you have room to sort in and keep and flea market separate, you'll have inventory for days! The grab bag idea is a good one!

You could probably put 25c each on the ornament holders and pretty much make back the money spent on both you and your dads boxes alone!! LOL! Great haul!!

I love watching you and your dad and mom in background. I use the santa picks for decorations on my tree. You just stick them all through tree. I got all kinds of different ones year before last. Some were shiny train engines and I got some glass round ornaments that had letters on them with green and red polka dots on them I turned the backwards and hung them on tree with the train engines it its my favorite tree. Loved your video thanks for making me smile

Melissa, Not sure if you know this but the green ornament hanger/hooks are used by many crafters year round. I use them to secure silk flowers and greenery for DIY projects, I have also spray painted them and used them to secure tons of different items. as they are bendable and totally blend in. I have also used them to even hold my cords for my electronics so they dont get tangled or wind up a tangled mess. Think outside the box and you can find tons of uses for them...I have sold tons of them at the flea market etc. year round.

You can permanently attach the glitter by spraying things with a clear krylon spray. You can spread modge podge over things ,& I've heard you can even spray it with hairspray. Then the glitter will stay put.

Take all the Santa heads and attach them to jute string through the back of the of the hat. After you space them evenly part tie little pieces of fabric between them and you have a cute garland

I wish I could buy the yarn from you. The 1st of every month I try to buy a skein of yarn for me and my grandbabies to knit/crochet headbands. Maybe do a mystery box of crafts kits. 😁

Lucky you I'm always on the look out for the letters z, k, m, a, j, t, I, h, and c. I have 11 grandchildren who all have pretty unique names. Some letters are easier to find others not so easy. Great haul. My closest Michaels is 45 minutes away. I can never get there before they sell out. I have gotten some with a bunch of flowers so I made some arrangements and took them to nursing homes. Ty for sharing.
