Yamaha Raptor 700 becomes a Nightmare project. Will it ever run?
#yamaha #rebuild #fix
Hey guys, this is a 2007 Yamaha Raptor 700 that I bought off Craigslist for 1800 bucks. It had an unknown issue that the previous owner tried to have fixed at the dealer where they could not find the issue. Knowing what I know now, this would have been a quick diagnosis, but a few years ago, this turned into a major learning experience. I hope you enjoy the video and thank you for watching! I really enjoyed watching this as it reminds me of my on-going project with my 1999 Yamaha Big Bear 350. Bought it for $1k and it kinda ran, had crap tires and sat outside from 2 owners before me after being driven through a mud puddle. So many issues I am still diagnosing, but honestly that is half the fun and knowing new and good parts are replacing the ever growing bad parts. And it runs really good after diagnosing the electrical demons that plagued it when I picked it up. Now I really want to get my hands on a Banshee or a Raptor and use it as my fun build.

I’m sorry but it’s always nice seeing other people struggling on projects. Because I always feel like I’m the only one struggling when seeing yt videos on how to fix things

It shut off and you almost shut down lol. Glad to see someone take so much care into building stuff and to not be sketchy or “try to make things work”. You know it’s good content when I get a smile watching you smile!

Real talent with mechanical ingenuity, deserves way more notification & clout, Being self taught, demands respect brother. Not being scared to jump into a project that’s a little overwhelming is the best way to up your game, Having the confidence to overcome any challenges & fix or figure out things most won’t attempt or give up on without even trying used to be how I felt about any & everything, But depression is a bummer. Your video gave me good memories of what we are all capable of doing, #Money is worthless next to knowledge.
