@@judygambel2801 - unfortunately there are only 24 hours in a day - lol!!! Also, the amount of time is not as important as the structure of your practising/playing. It is quite possible to play for longer and make less progress than a player who follows a stricter regime but plays fewer hours.

Thank you Sebastian,- we would love to come to Australia.
I’ve been struggling to find the Cattle Call piano version, as I heard this rendition on Spotify on the Garden Party album, but I am now realizing it’s because the album mislabels this piece as Grieg’s Elven Dance Lyric Piece, instead of it’s proper name, Cattle Call from 25 Norwegian Folksongs and Dances

@frankfeldman66575 жыл бұрын
It's OK. But the warmth of strings, or of a piano with a sustain pedal is SORELY missed. It's cold, IOW, the opposite of Grieg.
@honeychurchgipsy64 жыл бұрын
Frank Feldman - aren't there strings on the guitar - lol? I did not find this performance 'cold' at all. These pieces are not deeply emotional to begin with but light and jaunty - the sopranino played at the end perfectly captured that spirit IMO>
@PianoGuy19902 жыл бұрын
It is far from OK, it is FABULOUS! These are folk melodies, small groups of villagers making music while the food is cooking! It is not the Elgar Variations or Nessum Dorma. Perfectly played with joy and great on guitar and recorder. Strings or organ would be quite a poor choice. Bravo to the guitar and recorder!
