He did a private show for a small group of us 2 weeks ago. He was the nicest, most gracious person you could imagine. He made a point of walking around the room to introduce himself and shake everyone's hand. Just a class act through and through. No "rockstar" attitude.

Torn from the heavens, they fall from the sky And walk the streets among mortal men They hide in shadows, keepers of the night Mortal life is weak, can't hold back the demons The blood pours as rain and soon you'll be alone … Descending angel Stand by my side … We'll face the night Descending Angel … Who guard the gates of hell just one more night For in the morning we'll bring the light … Born and created in the image of a God The heavens fall, no savior has been sent No one to guide us, alone we face the night Mortal life is brief for the rebel angels They make their final stand and soon you'll be alone … Descending angel stand by my side … And face the night Descending angel … Who Guard the gates of Hell just one more night … Forever ends tonight Descending Angel … Descending angel … Descending angel stand by my side … And face the night Descending angel … Who guard the gates of Hell just one more night … Forever ends tonight Descending Angel … Little rebel angel (angel) Little rebel angel Little rebele angel Descending Angel

It must of been ruff for Graves to go from fronting one the best original punk bands of all time to going back to these club gigs. On the flipside these club gigs put you face to face with the audience and is quite intimate. Where he can hear you just as much as you him. Would of loved to of seen his solo show. Somehow didn't know about it at the time. Good thing it got recorded. Love to find this on vinyl!!!
@christiancouture21949 жыл бұрын
Right you are. It's great for us to be able to get such intimate performances from the man but it kinda sucks that such a great artist has to operate in bloody coffee shops and shady bars though.

My uncle died in october 2021 he idolized the misfìts. They were his favorite band. I was never into them until recently and now they're my favorite band. This song along with the haunting remind me of him and ot puts tear to my eyes listening to them. He also met a few of the band members like Jerry only, doyle and i think glenn. Maybe robo. He also has a lot of signed things. Thanks for reading, love you all.
