Forgot to mention: I think you’d like the by terry ombré blackstar in misty rock. It’s similar to Chantecaille mermaid but a bit more dimensional and much longer lasting/safe from creasing. I’ve actually used one up and repurchased which I’ve never done with ANY other eyeshadow (cream or otherwise) before. Highly highly recommend it for a one and done!

Their Frozen Quartz shade is very similar to the Chantecaille Pangolin shade too, if you like that shade but in a creamy version.

I loved the story about the Nordstrom Tom Ford shadow; in my opinion that would be a good KZfaq video idea - the stories behind purchasing the shades in person as compared to online; I still remember buying a MAC shade years ago from I think their "Hey, Sailor" collection and what influenced me was the artist's STUNNING eye look - included green eyeliner, and it was so crisp and so well done. I love shopping stories.

It’s like you read my mind. I was just wishing that you would do a video of this nature, and I was delighted to hop on and see that you just posted this. I LOVE single shadow looks, especially for every day when I want to do my makeup in 10 minutes or less (which is most days). You hit all of my faves too except for Tom Ford Platinum.

Love this! The other color from that Ritualistic Rose quad that I love to wear alone is that brown shade! I sometimes add Hourglass shimmer pot taupe shadow, and it’s 🔥!

My all time favorite Eyeshadow was chanel d’ombre in epatant. I wore it for years. But, of course, it got discontinued. Every dupe I got, no one replaced that one. I miss it so much. Chanel really broke my heart. It was such a unique shade. I only wear single eyeshadow. It’s easy and quick. I don’t have time for 4 different eyeshadows to put on in the morning. And these single, sparkly ones always look soooo elegant. Unpopular opinion: I am a single eyeshadow person😆

SmileLC100 It is my favourite eyeshadow too. When I found out that it was going to be discontinued I bought three backups. I'm currently on my last one right now. I find that since they are old they do tend to dry out a lot faster. I have not been able to replicate anything like it 😭

swedishlina Right? Such a unique one. I have two left but both dried out. I did try to “reactive” those with alcohol etc. But I am still heartbroken😆. There are some similar ones, Natasha Denona’s “Industrial” is similar but still, not just not the same. The sparkle, the texture, the shade.... Not replaceable😆 I am still hoping that Chanel will continue Epatant one day🤞🏽

I love this idea. I own the Roen 11:11 quad and I definitely use it more as a collection of 4 singles rather than a palette and I love using any one of them for single shadow looks. My Clionadh glitter shadow, Grisaille, is another great single shadow look. I just smudge it all over my lid, maybe fluff a buffing brush into the crease and that’s it. There’s enough pigment in it to create dimension but it’s still so glimmery.

I'm fascinated that the Tom Ford Emotionproof cream eyeshadows did not make your list! I don't have any, but I keep looking at them...And I have three VB Lid Lustres and they are amazing.

I’ve been using the Nudestix eye pencils for the last year. I really like the ease of the application and the simplicity of the one and done eye look. I also prefer their colour story as they are mostly neutral shades.

Thank you for this video. I’ve been longing for the VB Mink shadow for a while now and now I will order it. You also made me take another look at my Sultry Muse palette and I can’t believe how blind I’ve been to its potential. Beautiful! I love single shadow looks! I love a taupe too. My dream palette would be an all taupe and taupe undertone palette with 4 creams, with the cream protector, and 4 powders. My top shade is Tom Ford Young Adonis (the cream without the topper), although this summer the VIctoria Beckham Mink might be overtaking the most worn status. Now I have the Dior on my shopping list. Thanks!

laura mercier caviar stick in metallic taupe is the best one and done lid shimmer, so reflective and stays all day

My favourite lid shades in palette form is the Viseart Paris Nudes and in cream is Platinumn by Tom Ford. I loved some you showed us so will have to take a look at them.
