So true. I used to not bother with eye makeup and focus on my lips since they’re a prominent feature of mine but ever since we’ve had to wear masks, I’ve started wearing mascara and it’s slowly been building up to lining my waterline and trying on false lashes and I’ve been enjoying it!

I love these types of products! My go to lately is the Ilia chromatic lid paints. Fresco is the perfect taupe for me and reminds me of CT's eyes to mesmerize in Marie Antoinette/Oyster Pearl. Since buying that one I've bought most of the other shades and found that both Umber and Sage are surprising favorites. I think you'd like Umber as well for the beautiful red/burgundy tone.

I also mostly reach for orangey, rusty, pinkey shades when it comes to eyeshadow! I was quite shocked when you said you have very cool undertones, I am quite warm and I always thought that was the reason behind my love of these shades...interestingly enough though, I’ll always reach for a cool brown versus a warm brown, so I guess it’s not all undertone😃 and likewise, I share a love for these cool effortless artsy eye looks so your collection is perfection in my eyes😍

A recent favorite has been the Laura Mercier caviar stick in Amethyst. It's a beautiful, shimmery purple. Sort of reminds me of NYX Rust but more purple. I've been mixing it with Au Natural for a really pretty, smokey shadow 💜

I just got the Laura Mercier caviar stick in Amethyst and love it as well. It's so creamy and somehow looks like a neutral while being a beautiful lavender. It makes my green eyes pop without looking too purple, which isn't something I want when I'm wearing clothing that don't work with purple.

i'm OBSESSED with the colourpop super shock shadow in ladybird! it's a sheer beige base with tons of superfine silver glitter, and it looks like the most beautiful wet sheen. i wear it completely alone or with a swipe of bronzer in the crease plus mascara for a simple but beautiful everyday eye look!

I got a Marc Jacobs brown liquid eyeshadow a while back and it’s so stunning on medium dark south Asian skin!! It’s got little flecks if blue and gold glitter in it that gives it a subtle shift and it’s just so easy to put on when I don’t feel like putting in any effort

I love Thrive Causmetics shadow sticks, Glossier has a liquid shadow I like but doesn’t last well on my oily lids. And I love Kosas shadows! Rare Beauty has nice pink shadows as well. I might try the L’Oréal single shadows, I’ve heard good things about those as well.

JD Glow makes some absolutely, amazing, out of this world shadows! Shades.... Good Gawd, Watermark, Unexpected and Fairy Acid are beyond stunning! Not to mention they’re 2.7 grams each for around $7. I've been so interested in the way you wear/apply eyeshadow. Very intriguing how you make a one colour/one shadow look work. I imagine the application is similar to Violette's (violette fr) method. She has shown loads of monochromatic sort of looks on her channel. At least that's what I imagine it turns out on your eyes. Love your aesthetic content. Thank you for powering through and posting during a pandemic.

Karima has some fantastic demonstrations throughout her video! I just apply the shade all over the eye, and a little above the crease because I have slightly hooded eyes. Super simple ☺️👍 x

Yes please make a part 2 🙏🏻! I also own and like a few you just mentioned, but my newest discovery are the Eyeko London galactic lid glosses (can be found on lookfantastic), they are gorgeous and super long lasting, they stay put all day, love love love if I want a more intense sparkly eye!

Ahh what a great video - and perfect timing, given a lot of people have switched the focus of their makeup to eyes now with wearing masks everywhere! Some of my favorite one and done shadows are actually highlighters! Becca's Shimmering Skin Perfecter Pressed in Opal makes the most amazing eye shadow. I have a lot of highlight samples that I can't really wear easily on my face that look beautiful on the eyes.

Love the coppery/terracotta/pink colors 😍 I've been getting more into cream/liquid products lately despite my oily skin. They're just so pretty and easy! I have a few colourpop super shocks but still looking for a standby favorite.

I love one and done shadows. I have many of the same products but I only wear cool tones so mine are taupe, lilac, silver and platinum shades. My favorites are By Terry shadow stick in Misty Rock, PMG single in Divine Mink, Laura Mercier sticks in Orchid, Intense Amethyst and Plum and MAC Satin Taupe, a classic. Also, Sydney Grace makes amazing liquid metallic shadows and any shadow in the all shimmer Coy palette from Viseart can be a great one and done.

Ofra Highlight in Bliss is a favorite to use on my eyes. I also love Colourpop Amaze and Charlotte Tilbury’s Jewel Pot in Walk of No Shame. I can’t wait to see Part Two of this video! I love anything light, bright and shiny on my lids. P.S. I most definitely need Olive&June in Lava now!🧡🧡🧡

My favorite one and done shadows come from colourpop and ilia. Also the Mac cream eyeshadow palettes. I love the Ulta matte liquid shadows in flower child and game over as well 💜
